SoundHarvest Music Festival Welcomes Allen Stone & The Weeks to Lineup
Bluewater Music is pleased to welcome Allen Stone and The Weeks to SoundHarvest Music Festival, a music and arts event to take place on the Parthenon Lawn at Centennial Park on Saturday, October 17. Doors for this all-ages event will open at 11 a.m., with nonstop music on two stages until 11 p.m..
Musicians Corner Announces Spring Lineup
Musicians Corner, Centennial Park’s free music series, will kick off its fifth anniversary spring season on May 9th.Performances will take place each Saturday from 12-5pm, capping the season off with back-to-back gatherings on June 27 & 28th. Musicians Corner will be located in the front of Centennial Park by 25th Ave and West End. Construction is underway on the permanent location, which is expected to be ready for the fall 2015 season.

Musicians Corner presents its Fall 2013 Season of free weekly lawn parties in Centennial Park on Saturday afternoons in September and October.
Last week, Musicians Corner announced its Fall 2013 Season Kick Off Celebration presented by Southwest® Airlines on Saturday, September 7 featuring musical performances by the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, The Dynamites Featuring Charles Walker, and Daniel Ellsworth & The Great Lakes. Musicians Corner is proud to welcome a Barbershop Harmony Society Ensemble to the September 7 line up. Musicians Corner’s Fall 2013 Season continues every Saturday through October 26, with a special Sunday event on September 22.

Musicians Corner, Nashville’s weekly lawn party, announces its fourth year of free music events in Centennial Park! Introducing the Musicians Corner Spring 2013 season:
The fourth season begins on Saturday, May 4 with free music and the 1st Annual Food Truck Fiesta featuring 25 of Nashville’s best food trucks.
The music will take place from 2 – 5 PM this year, preceded by Pre-Show Festivities from 12 – 2 PM including our Beer Garden Happy Hour, Food Trucks, Kidsville Activities, and Chef Michael’s Dog of the Day.

Musicians Corner is a nonprofit program that hosts Nashville’s weekly lawn parties in Centennial Park. Musicians Corner’s free community events are free and open to all, where residents and visitors gather to enjoy multi-genre live music, local food vendors, Kidsville activities, Dog of the Day, and a Beer Garden in a beautiful park setting. Musicians Corner events take place every Saturday in May, June, September, and October.

Perfect Weather Shines on Musicians Corner
The rain from the early morning had gone, and by 3pm the day was sunny with the temperature in the low 70’s. Following a record-breaking week last Saturday, Musicians Corner was back in Centennial Park for performances from the Allen Thompson Band, Goodbye June, Marie Hines, Matthew Perryman Jones and more.
Blind Boys Excite and Food Trucks Delight at Musicians Corner’s Fall Season Kickoff
Musicians Corner has kicked off its fall season in unprecedented fashion. Coinciding with the Nashville Street Food Awards, the weekly Centennial Park event saw record numbers come out to see Jon Troast, The Nashville Symphony Quartet, Chelsea Gill, Jeremy Lister, Anthony Snape, Karen Elson, The Carmonas and the legendary Blind Boys of Alabama.
The event is sporting a slightly different look this season, turning the stage 180 degrees due to a Centennial Park tree that is rather old and at risk of coming down. Musicians Corner Announces Its Fall Season
Musicians Corner, Nashville’s free weekly lawn party in Centennial Park, will kick off the first of nine fall music events on Saturday, September 1. The Musicians Corner fall season takes place on Saturday afternoons from 3-6 PM in Centennial Park from September 1 to October 27. View the complete fall season schedule here!

HEAR OVER 60 ARTISTS FOR FREE
The fall season of Musicians Corner will feature over 60 free multi-genre musical performances including The Blind Boys of Alabama, Sam Bush, a Nashville Symphony quartet, Karen Elson, Regi Wooten & Friends, Ashley Cleveland, Matthew Perryman Jones, Phil Keaggy, Jeremy Lister, The Farewell Drifters, Shannon Whitworth, Yarn, The SteelDrivers, Shannon Sanders, and The Vespers. Lightning 100 Acoustic Stage performers were selected through an open submission process in partnership with AmericanSongspace.com.
EXPERIENCE A FABULOUS KICK OFF EVENT
Through a grant from South Arts and The National Endowment for the Arts, The Blind Boys of Alabama will headline Musicians Corner’s September 1 Fall Kick Off event, which also features main stage performances by a Nashville Symphony quartet, Karen Elson and Jeremy Lister. The Blind Boys of Alabama will also take part in a symposium titled “The Influence of Music on The Civil Rights Movement” earlier that day, presented in partnership with Fisk University and made possible through South Arts and The National Endowment for the Arts.
ENJOY TWO MORE VERY SPECIAL EVENTS
This fall, Musicians Corner will also present several special events in partnership with local music organizations. Saturday, September 15th will feature an Americana Music Festival event with Sam Bush, Hoots and Hellmouth, Charlie Faye, and more.
“We had a very successful partnership with Musicians Corner during last year’s festival and are looking forward to another wonderful afternoon of Americana music in Centennial Park,” said Jed Hilly, Executive Director of the Americana Music Association.
On Saturday, September 22, Musicians Corner and Music City Roots will present a Square Dance event featuring Carolyn Martin, folk trio The Stray Birds, and more artists to be announced.
