Craig Campbell’s sophomore album, Never Regret, hit stores this week and the album is already garnering rave reviews.
Here’s what some of the critics are saying about NEVER REGRET:
“A country singer to the core. Craig delivers on Never Regret, an album that stays true to his musical vision while displaying excellent growth with consistently strong performances.”
“Craig Campbell is a solid writer, has an uncanny knack for crafting (or finding, in some cases) catchy melodies and delivers the goods with enough personality to separate him from the general flock.”
Fans of that smooth, deep baritone voice that can only belong to Trace Adkins won’t be disappointed in the newest release to hit stores entitled ‘Love Will…’.
This 11-track album has an overall theme that shows a little softer side of the country hitmaker, and still leans towards a more traditional country sound that you’ve come to expect from Trace.
My favorite off the album is the poignant ballad featuring Colbie Caillat called “Watch The World End”; a song about two lovers lamenting over what they would do if the world was coming to an end. I, also, thoroughly enjoyed “Come See Me”; another ballad that will have all the ladies swooning as Trace sings “just let me be your everything. Come see me. I want to love you.” Continue Reading →
The only way to live life is to go all in. At least that’s Criag Campbell’s take, as he prepares to release his new album “Never Regret” on May 7th.
“Every decision that I’ve made that have gotten me here are decisions I’ll never regret,” says Craig about the title of the new album “I don’t look back, I just jump.”
This is Craig’s sophomore album, and he approached it a little differently than his first, which garnered such hits as “Family Man” and “Fish:”
“This album is a bit more sexy than the first album,” he says. “And I wanted to bring the energy up… just make it bigger.”
Pop sensation and American Idol season 7 runner-up David Archuleta just released another album entitled “No Matter How Far” after the success of his previous albums The Other Side of Down, Forevermore and Begin. “No Matter How Far” includes some of his previously unreleased U.S. tracks and newly recorded music weeks before he went to serve a two-year mission in South America for his Church. The title itself is dedicated to his global fans—that “No Matter How Far” he is, he’s still connected with them through his music. The carrier single “Don’t Run Away” was produced in collaboration with British music producers David Sneddon and James Bauer-Mein (The Nexus). You can watch its music video at his official fansite, DavidArchuleta.com. Continue Reading →
Trio Brings History-Making Crowd to Hometown of Greeneville, TN with a Free Show
Republic Nashville sibling trio The Band Perry gave a special performance in their hometown of Greeneville, TN, debuting new music from their sophomore album, PIONEER. An estimated crowd of 25,000 took to the streets of the small mountain town to see the famous residents and a chance meeting in the autograph line that stretched over a quarter of a mile down Main Street. Their new CD, PIONEER, which releases today, has already hit #1 on the iTunes Country chart!
The history-making crowd boasted a large number of out of town visitors, in addition to members of Greeneville’s 17,000 residents, who made their way to see “their” band. With an invitation posted via social media earlier that week asking if fans were attending and from where, responses came in from all over the United States, including Florida, Iowa, Georgia, Alabama, and Texas, among others. Fans even reported that they were making the trip from Canada!
Also Sets Plans To Host Cornhole Challenge For The TJ Martell Foundation
After selling more than a half-million tracks from his debut effort, Bigger Picture artist Craig Campbell today revealed on his Facebook page the street date and cover artwork for his highly anticipated sophomore album, NEVER REGRET. The twelve-song project, which features the evocative lead single “Outta My Head,” will join the ranks of country music hit-makers Lady Antebellum and Pistol Annies to release on May 7, 2013. On this second record, Campbell continues to work with Grammy Award winning producer Keith Stegall (Alan Jackson, Zac Brown Band) and CCMA Album of The Year producer, Matt Rovey.
Shortly after the release of his sophomore record and in honor of his late father, Craig will host the inaugural Celebrity Cornhole Challenge to benefit the TJ Martell Foundation’s colon cancer research efforts. The announcement of June’s event comes at a timely moment as National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month is coming to a close. “This tournament will benefit colon cancer awareness and research, which I am very passionate about,” states Campbell. With a smile in his eyes, he continues, “my father passed away at the age of 36 from the disease, and what better event to benefit colon cancer care than a ‘Cornhole’ tournament.” Just last week, Craig joined Alan Jackson to perform at the Stars Go Blue concert in Nashville to benefit the Colon Cancer Alliance.

For seven-time GRAMMY winning trio Lady Antebellum, their upcoming fourth Capitol Records Nashville release GOLDEN out May 7 was figuratively – and literally – born on the move.
The harmony-based trio and its sizeable fan base bonded heavily during the band’s headlining Own The Night World Tour – an over-sized road trip, if there ever was one. The shows themselves were inspirational. But so was the time offstage. Lady A made a point of experimenting and creating with its road band as the one-nighters and the miles of travel piled up. That behind-the-scenes interaction inspired much of the music on GOLDEN, an instantly infectious project in which Lady A discovered new edges for its already-successful foundation.
