Smithfield was founded in 2011 with a dream as big as their home state of Texas. Vocalists, Trey and Jennifer, Smithfield took the stage by storm with their memorable music and stunning harmonies. Having grown up together, their on-stage chemistry is undeniably genuine and natural.
Country duos are a unique in the music industry. Two voices have to blend perfectly together, and that combination is often hard to find, even in two great singers. Against all odds, the duo has continued to persevere with their music and develop their sound. Trey and Jennifer have found that with a lot hard work and passion that anything can be accomplished. After only one year in Nashville, Smithfield had already landed opening gigs for established artists including Kane Brown, Scotty McCreery, Granger Smith, Dustin Lynch, Brothers Osborne and Old Dominion.

Mixing the heavily rock influenced background of Trey and the classical country tendency of Jennifer, Smithfield creates a unique blend of country sound that’s different and compelling.

Proving to be the hottest emerging duo in country music, Smithfield’s new single “Our World”

Tenille Townes’ “White Horse” Out Today

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Emerging singer, songwriter and performer Tenille Townes’ new song, “White Horse,” is out today. Listen/share HERE.

Written by Townes, Daniel Tashian and Jeremy Spillman, the song is the second track unveiled from Townes’ forthcoming debut album, produced by Jay Joyce and due later this year on Columbia Nashville. Of the song, Townes comments, “‘White Horse’ is a song about how love can look a little bit differently than we might expect it to. I think we grow up in our society completely surrounded by that fairy tale idea of what love should be, but maybe love is even bigger than that. I think it’s important to be open hearted and to push the boundaries of what society might build up in our expectations. I love that this song stands strongly in the idea that love isn’t always about the ivory towers and the roses.”

Already receiving widespread attention, Townes was recently named iHeartCountry’s next “On The Verge” artist. The program includes on-air exposure, which has already led to a lift for her debut single “Somebody’s Daughter,” as well as significant digital and social support across iHeartMedia’s network of country radio stations and websites. The program has proven instrumental in the development of such successful and highly credible artists such as Sam Hunt, Maren Morris, Luke Combs, Mitchell Tenpenny and Cam. In celebration of this honor, Townes will perform on the iHeartCountry Festival stage at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, TX on May 4.

Townes is also one of Amazon Music’s “2019 Artists To Watch,” CMT’s “Next Women of Country,” iHeart Radio’s “Artists To Watch in 2019” and is included in The Bobby Bones Show’s “Class of 2019,” CMT’s “Listen Up” and the inaugural class of “Opry NextStage.” Moreover, Townes continues to garner widespread attention including recent critical praise at NPR Music, Rolling Stone, The Tennessean, Refinery29, Wide Open Country and Sounds Like Nashville.

Townes is currently on the road supporting Dierks Bentley as part of his extensive BURNING MAN TOUR. The tour, which kicked off January 17 at Hamilton, ON’s FirstOntario Centre, features performances across Canada and the U.S., including stops at Chicago’s Casino Amphitheater and Columbus’ Nationwide Arena among many others. Of her recent performance with Bentley at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, The Tennessean declares, “Country music’s new it girl Tenille Townes has one of the most distinct voices in country music.” Additionally, she will perform select dates this March in Australia as part of the international “CMA: Introducing Nashville” series. Pandora Stories give artists and creators of all kinds – musicians, actors, filmmakers, athletes, celebs, authors, and beyond – a new way to connect with fans in an intimate and authentic way, in their own words, using the power of music.

The first collection of Pandora Stories features John Legend, Daddy Yankee, Lauren Alaina, Perry Farrell, Wes Anderson music supervisor Randall Poster, Amy Winehouse collaborator and Dap-Kings guitarist Tommy Brenneck, and a Pandora-hosted story exploring “Love Songs That Really Aren’t Love Songs,” with forthcoming stories from 2 Chainz, Rob Thomas and many more.

Lauren Alaina is Doin’ Just Fine

The country-pop songstress takes listeners from her breakout on American Idol to the release of her new album, “Ladies in the 90s,” a tribute to Whitney Houston, Britney Spears, Shania Twain, and the musical heroes of her childhood.

Perry Farrell’s Ocean-Sized Tales

Jane’s Addiction frontman and Lollapalooza co-founder Perry Farrell has spent his career on the edge of popular culture. Now, in advance of his new project, Kind Heaven Orchestra, the alt-rock luminary takes listeners on a wild ride through his musical catalogue.

Brooklyn Soul with Tommy Brenneck

Songwriter, producer and guitarist Tommy “TNT” Brenneck is the backbone of the music scene that featured the likes of Sharon Jones and Charles Bradley, and served up backing tracks for rappers like Jay-Z and Kendrick Lamar. Brenneck takes us on a journey through the soul of his funky borough.

Song Review: Kären McCormick | “Dancing With Him Tonight”

Every now and then, songs evoke a physical response — singing along, crying, leaning in to kiss the person you love.  Kären McCormick’s “Dancing With Him Tonight” will make you want to put on your favorite high heels and dance with a stranger.

“Giddy on up cowboy show ‘em how it’s done

A little bit of yeehaw never hurt no one”

Born in Africa and raised in Washington, Kären McCormick is quickly placing her distinctive stamp on country music. From the alluring first notes to the 23-year-old’s sultry voice throughout, McCormick’s third release will leave you ready to seek out a scandalous adventure.

“I like the way he moves when he walks by

And I wouldn’t mind dancing with him tonight”

Self-penned and produced by Caleb Lovely and Lucas Hathaway, “Dancing With Him Tonight” illustrates the best way to move on at the end of a relationship — find a cute rebound.

With a vocal blend of Taylor Swift and Kacey Musgraves, the newcomer is already making a name for herself. McCormick snagged a win at Got Talent, Spokane? in 2012 and played two dates on Kelsea Ballerini’s “The Unapologetically Tour” with Walker Hayes. She has opened for Terry McDermott of NBC’s “The Voice” and has racked up over 850,000 views on YouTube.

McCormick released her first autobiographical single, “Just a Song”, last year and has independently garnered more than 20,000 streams. Her sophomore single, “We Were on Fire”, was released in August.

“Dancing With Him Tonight” is available on iTunes, Spotify and all digital retailers.

Kären McCormick is slated to release her debut EP this summer.
