The Grand Ole Opry and iHeart Radio are readying their rosters as they prepare to strike out cancer at the City of Hope Celebrity Softball Game. More than 25 music and sports stars will step up to the plate for this 25th anniversary event, taking place June 13 from the new First Tennessee Park during CMA Music Festival. The Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum welcomes thousands of country music fans to the CMA Music Festival, June 11-14. The museum will offer a packed week of activities, presented by Xfinity, beginning Wednesday, June 10. In addition to autograph signings, performances, special programs, and the new exhibition Luke Bryan: Dirt Road Diary, the museum will offer a last chance to see the exhibitions Kenny Rogers: Through the Years, closing June 15, and Alan Jackson: 25 Years of Keepin’ it Country, closing June 21. The Society of Leaders in Development (SOLID) will host the 13th annual Music Row Yard Sale & Auction. The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 13th from 8AM – 2PM at the newly christened George Jones Museum located at 128 2nd Ave. N, Nashville, TN. The Yard Sale, which runs in conjunction with CMA Music Festival, the largest country music festival in the world, allows country music fans to find treasures that are only available through this event.
Historic Travellers Rest will host the BBQ + Brew summer event on Sunday, June 28 from 12 to 3 p.m. with BBQ and beer on the grounds outside the historic home. All proceeds from ticket sales will benefit Travellers Rest.
Maxx Recordings, a full service label founded and led by Maximum Artist Group’s Mitchell Solarek, introduced it’s first signing, buzz band 3for3, at a star-studded launch party in Nashville tonight. The group is set to launch a single next month, as well as a tour this fall. Additionally, Solarek announced that the full-service entertainment group is partnering with Sony RED and New Day Christian for distribution of the multi-genre enterprise and has also signed Kolby Koloff and Riley Clemmons. Maximum Artist Group is home to award-winning artists such as Natalie Grant, Donald Lawrence, Danny Gokey and award-winning producer Bernie Herms.

Chris Carmack, star of ABC’s hit series “Nashville” has just released the new track “Being Alone,” available now on iTunes. The passion-driven song will be included on his forthcoming EP, PIECES OF YOU, slated for release this spring. Although previously featured on the album THE MUSIC OF NASHVILLE: SEASON 2 with the popular “What If I Was Willing,” “Being Alone” marks Carmack’s first independent release signifying his career as a solo artist.
