About Chris Stapleton:

Kentucky-born Chris Stapleton is a multiple Grammy, CMA and ACM Award-winner and one of the country’s most respected and beloved musicians. This past fall, Stapleton released his critically acclaimed new album, Starting Over—a record that examines life’s simplest joys and most serious struggles. Once again recorded at Nashville’s legendary RCA Studio A with Grammy Award-winning producer Dave Cobb, Starting Over won Album of the Year at the 56th ACM Awards and landed on several “Best of 2020” lists including NPR Music, Rolling Stone, Billboard, Esquire, Vulture, The Tennessean and The New York Times, who praises, “lands precisely where country meets Southern soul: with grit, details, clarity and ache.” Moreover, The Associated Press declares, “a sure-footed masterpiece…one of the year’s finest albums” and GQ proclaims, “mixes beautifully stark songwriting with blues, country, and rock melodies, allowing Stapleton’s sturdy, propulsive vocals to carry the show.” His fourth studio album, Starting Over follows Stapleton’s quadruple platinum breakthrough solo debut, Traveller, as well as his two #1 albums from 2017: From A Room: Volume 1 (certified platinum) and From A Room: Volume 2 (certified gold). Adding to an already triumphant year, Stapleton will return to the stage this summer with his extensive “All-American Road Show” tour including stops at New York’s Madison Square Garden, Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, Washington State’s Gorge Amphitheatre and University of Kentucky’s Kroger Field among several others.

About Brooks & Dunn:

Since their debut in 1991, Brooks & Dunn have remained among country music’s most popular touring acts, a testament both to their showmanship and to their status as one of the true bedrock artists of country music. In June 2015, Kix and Ronnie teamed up with Reba McEntire for a Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Since its opening, “REBA, BROOKS & DUNN: TOGETHER IN VEGAS” has played over 80 shows to 300,000 fans making it the longest running country music residency in Las Vegas. In 2019 Brooks & Dunn were inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.

About Old Dominion:

Old Dominion has emerged as one of the hottest breaking bands out of Nashville, fusing clever lyrics and an infectious sound. Their lyrical wit and hook heavy songwriting has certainly proved a winning method: since breaking onto the music scene in 2014, the band has notched eight No. 1 singles at country radio, surpassed one billion on-demand streams, earned several Platinum and Gold single certifications and headlined arenas and amphitheaters around the globe.

Old Dominion are currently the reigning CMA and ACM “Group of the Year.” Most recently, the band earned their 4th consecutive “Group of the Year” win at the 56th Annual ACM Awards. At the 2020 CMT Awards, the band took home their first win for “Group Video of The Year”. The group also notched two nominations for the 2020 CMAs including “Vocal Group” and “Album of the Year” for their self-titled 2019 studio album, nominations for “Top Country Duo/Group” and “Top Country Song” for the 2020 Billboard Music Awards, as well as a “Favorite Duo/Group – Country” nod for the 2020 American Music Awards.

In 2020, the band received their first two GRAMMY nominations for “Best Country Duo/Group Performance” and “Best Country Song,” for their hit single “Some People Do” which is featured on their self-titled third studio album.

Over the course of their career, the band has also been notably named ACM “New Group of the Year,” ACCA “Breakthrough Group of the Year,” AIMP “Songwriter Artist of the Year” and Music Row “Breakthrough Artist of the Year” and in 2017, front man Matthew Ramsey was ASCAP’s “Artist of the Year.” The band has also received nominations for CMT Awards, American Music Awards, Billboard Awards, and iHeart Radio Awards.

In May of 2021, Old Dominion released their newest single “I Was On a Boat That Day.” Of the new track, front man Matthew Ramsey said, “When you listen to ‘I Was On a Boat That Day’ you are hearing us in the full joy of making music together. From the moment I counted the band off we were smiling from beginning to end. The tequila was flowing, the laughter was loud, and we knew in that moment we were creating something that would bring people as much joy as it was bringing us.”

Old Dominion consists of lead singer Matthew Ramsey, lead guitarist Brad Tursi, multi-instrumentalist Trevor Rosen, bassist Geoff Sprung and drummer Whit Sellers.

Their melodic and stunning self-titled third LP was released on October 25, 2019.

New Country Music Festival In UK: The Long Road Music Festival – September 7-9, 2018

A major new greenfield music and lifestyle camping festival is set to bring the world-famous, inimitable sights and sounds of the country music scene to the UK in 2018. Taking place within the grounds of Stanford Hall in Leicestershire, England from September 7th – 9th 2018, The Long Road will present one of the UK’s largest, most authentic celebrations of country, Americana and roots music featuring five stages of live performances, bespoke food events and a wide range of themed outdoor activities.

Curated by Tennessee-born country music specialist and radio presenter Baylen Leonard, The Long Road will present a broad array of artists, from iconic US stars to up-and-coming home-grown talent, and the first wave of acts to be announced for the inaugural event includes US country star Lee Ann Womack, acclaimed singer-songwriter Billy Bragg, multi-platinum-selling singer-songwriter Angaleena Presley, British country duo The Shires, popstar turned country music singer Una Healy and Texan singer and winner of The Voice USA Danielle Bradbery. Reflecting the extraordinary surge in popularity that country music has enjoyed in the UK in recent years, The Long Road will also feature a strong contingent of rising star UK acts across the weekend including hotly-tipped London-based duo Ferris & Sylvester and country-soul singer songwriter Yola Carter.

Much more than just a music festival, The Long Road will embrace all aspects of the country and Americana scene and, alongside its live music offerings, will incorporate an array of themed activities including Moonshine and bourbon tasting, instrument and songwriters’ rounds, lake swimming, a Southern-inspired food & shopping village and much more, providing festival goers with a unique, authentic country music lifestyle experience.

Marking the first time the platform has teamed with a country music event, BBC Music Introducing will host their own stage at the festival, which will be fronted by presenter of BBC Radio 2’s weekly country show Bob Harris and will showcase some of the UK’s best unsigned talent. The festival has also partnered with a carefully selected pool of specialist country and Americana organisations including The Birthplace of Country Music, which showcases the role that Bristol, Tennessee and Bristol, Virginia played in the birth and development of country music, The Bluegrass Situation (BGS), an online music magazine and curator promoting the continued growth of bluegrass, roots, progressive folk rock, Americana music and culture, The Americana Music Association UK, and independent UK label Loose Records, who celebrate their 20th anniversary in 2018. These organisations will all be involved in bringing artists to the festival to showcase a broad array of talent from across the spectrum of country, Americana and roots music.

The Shires:

“We are very excited to be playing the first Long Road festival. Country music in the UK is starting to really gain momentum and an outdoor festival dedicated to it will be great fun to play.”

The Long Road’s Creative Director Baylen Leonard:

“Being from Tennessee and having lived in the UK for close to 20 years, I’m thrilled to bring the music and culture of both together in one festival. The dedication and passion of the UK country community is so amazing, we wanted to put together a festival that celebrated the music and lifestyle they love as a thank you to the fans for supporting country music. Whether you’re a country fan, an Americana fan, or a fan of great music in general, we wanted a welcoming place where everyone could come together to celebrate.
