Topgolf Transforming Nissan Stadium Into Larger-Than-Life Playground

Before Topgolf® Nashville opens later this year, residents and visitors can get a slice of the social experience that is sweeping the nation. From July 20-23, sports fans, golfers and even non-golfers alike can enjoy a festival-like experience with local favorite food truck fare, drinks and live music – all while crushing golf balls from the stands of Nissan Stadium into giant targets on the field. Tickets for Topgolf Crush go on sale at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, May 30, at topgolf.com/crush.

“Topgolf Crush is bringing the high-tech, fun, social and competitive Topgolf experience to epic venues nationwide, and we’re thrilled to make Nashville’s Nissan Stadium our next stop, ” said Topgolf Chief Marketing Officer Brian Radics. “In true Nashville fashion, Topgolf Crush at Nissan Stadium will feature live music from various local artists throughout the weekend, giving fans a preview of what to expect when Topgolf Nashville opens later this year.

Players will aim for giant targets ranging from 40-150 yards away on the field. Topgolf Crush features Topgolf’s Toptracer technology that tracks the flight path of the golf balls, instantly scoring every shot so players can challenge others to competition. Operating daily from 9 a.m. to midnight, Topgolf Crush will also feature live music, a bar and local food trucks for those wanting to keep the fun going before or after their tee time. All ticket types allow all-day long access to the event.

Topgolf Crush tickets start at $65 for standard 1-day passes, $100 for premium 1-day passes, and $250 for VIP passes. Music City Food + Wine Festival brings together stars of Nashville’s culinary scene with acclaimed regional and national chefs, wine and spirits experts.  Located in the heart of downtown Nashville, Festival programming will include the Grand Taste Pavilion, held at Bicentennial Capitol State Mall Park on Friday, September 15, from 6:00 – 10:00 p.m., and Saturday, September 16, from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.  The Grand Taste Pavilion will offer interactive cooking demonstrations, engaging panel discussions, intimate Tasting Sessions, a dynamic line-up of more than 20 local chefs a day preparing signature dishes in the Chef Showcase, Book Signings and more: www.musiccityfoodandwinefestival.com

The Grand Taste Pavilion will also offer food, wine and cocktail samples from more than 80 local and regional artisans and feature celebrated pitmaster Pat Martin, who will once again host Martin’s Bar-B-Que Joint and Friends, featuring an all-star line-up of chefs, beverage pros and fellow pitmasters from around the country that will smoke and grill meats and veggies in an interactive, live-fire barbeque feast on festival grounds.

Back by popular demand, Music City Food + Wine Festival is proud to host Pappy Hour at the Grand Taste Pavilion on Saturday, September 16.  This bourbon tasting will be led by Preston Van Winkle of Old Rip Van Winkle Distillery, great grandson of iconic bourbon maker Julian P. “Pappy” Van Winkle.  More information on how to attend Pappy Hour will be announced this summer.

Celebrated pitmaster Pat Martin will be joined by a host of decorated chef friends to cook and serve an interactive, live-fire barbeque and grilling fest on festival grounds at Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park on Friday night and Saturday.

The 2013 CMA Music Festival will take over downtown Nashville Thursday through Sunday, June 6-9with six free stages in the outdoor footprint and countless activities.

Tickets for the Nightly Concerts at LP Field sold out a record-setting six weeks in advance of the 2013 Festival, but fans will still have innumerable opportunities to watch Country Music’s best and brightest perform at CMA Music Festival.
