In this exciting video series, Carissa will release covers each Friday of some of her favorite songs from all genres, with a country twist. Reigning ACM New Artist Of The Year and multi No. 1 country radio hit-maker Justin Moore, (known for his hits “Small Town USA,” “Point At You,” “If Heaven Wasn’t So Far Away” and more), paid a goodwill visit to Hershey Fire Station in Hershey, Pa. to honor firefighters for their daily sacrifice and selfless display of courage on behalf of their local community. He gifted each of them free tickets to his concert at The Giant Center on March 26, in partnership with Crown Royal, and also presented the fire station with a $5,000 check donation, on behalf of the whisky brand, to use towards necessary renovations.

Black River Entertainment recording artist Kelsea Ballerini released the official album art and track listing for her 12-song debut album The First Time. Set for a May 19 release on Black River Entertainment, the lead single from the debut album nears the top 20 only inches away at #21 on the Billboard chart this week.
Fans are taking note of Kelsea’s debut single “Love Me Like You Mean It” at #19 on the Country Song Charts with 15,329 downloads this week. Furthering her name recognition, Variety announced yesterday that Kelsea Ballerini is among those presenting at the Radio Disney Music Awards, following her full schedule at the ACM awards, both coming up later this month.
NRA Country and country music will be front-and-center on the streets of downtown Nashville next week, with free outdoor concerts set for Thursday, April 9 through Sunday, April 12. The entertainment will rock in two locations, starting up on Thursday with artists on the NRA Country Sound Stage (at 5th and Demonbreun). Headliners on that stage include singer/songwriter Josh Thompson (Thursday, 4/9) country starlet Cheryl LuQuire (Friday, 4/10), and American Idol alum Bucky Covington (Saturday, 4/11). “Redneck Crazy” singer Tyler Farr will be at the NRA Country booth on Sunday, 4/12 at 1:00PM. Fans can meet Tyler and pre-order his new album Suffer In Peace featuring the smash hit “A Guy Walks Into A Bar” which releases April 28. The critically acclaimed music series Front and Center will kick-off its new season with four all-newCountry Music Association CMA Songwriters Series episodes with Hunter Hayes; Bob DiPiero featuring Brandy Clark; Sara Evans and Martina McBride; and Little Big Town. The episodes, which will begin airing April 4thon public television, collectively feature guest appearances from some of Nashville’s best-known songwriters including Barry Dean, Natalie Hemby, Hillary Lindsey, Aimee Mayo, Shane McAnally, Lori McKenna, Gretchen Peters, Liz Rose, Gordie Sampson, The Warren Brothers, and songwriting artist Charlie Worsham. The T.J. Martell Foundation for Leukemia, Cancer and AIDS Research honored Steve and Judy Turner with The Spirit of Nashville Award; Dr. Jeffrey Balser, Medical Research Advancement Award; Bill and Billy Ray Hearn, Frances Preston Lifetime Music Industry Achievement Award; Ken Levitan, Tony Martell Outstanding Entertainment Achievement Award and Becca Stevens, Lifetime Humanitarian Award last night at the 7th Annual Nashville Honors Gala, held at the Omni Hotel downtown. The gala raised nearly $500,000 and has raised close to 3 million dollars since its inception in 2009. Governor Bill Haslam and First Lady Crissy Haslam and Nashville Mayor Karl Dean joined the sold-out event to honor these individuals whom have made indelible marks on the community.
As previously announced, Columbia Nashville’s Tyler Farr is set to release his new album, SUFFER IN PEACE, on April 28 and with excitement continuing to build, the Missouri native announced more details for the forthcoming studio album today; including the full track listing, songwriters and two special album bundles for sale to Farr’s fans at TYLERFARR.COM.
Kenny Chesney – clad in a dark sleeveless Grace Potter and the Nocturnals t-shirt – hit Nashville like a house a-fire. From the opening of the New Orleans funeral drum corps/street preacher noir film until the last ringing note of Joe Walsh’s hard-charging “All Night Long,” the East Tennessean showed how much he missed the fans since he walked offstage after two sold-out nights at Foxboro’s Gillette Stadium in 2013.
