Industry and fans first turned their heads to this promising new voice with the 2014 release of her EP Blackbird, which landed her a feature in Billboard. She’s currently in the studio preparing for the release of a new project and single this spring.

ABOUT CARISSA LEIGH: An eclectic music lover, Carissa Leigh grew up listening to Dolly Parton in one ear and The Allman Brothers Band in the other. Her grandfather was a die-hard Country fan, while her father’s loyalties lie with rock ‘n’ roll. Both influenced Carissa growing up, but as the years went by it was the sounds of Shania Twain and Keith Urban that she found making their way into her own music. So it’s of no surprise that she ended up in Nashville. The new year brings along with it new experiences for Carissa to pull from as she prepares for the release of brand new music and a single expected out this Spring.
