CANAAN SMITH TO PERFORM DURING COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYOFF NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP PREGAME

Mercury Nashville’s Canaan Smith is set to perform as part of pregame festivities during the College Football Playoff National Championship, Monday, January 11 at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. On the field prior to the game, Canaan will sing “America the Beautiful,” accompanied by a group of elite vocalists from “Encore,” the touring ensemble of the Phoenix Children’s Chorus. In addition to Canaan, the pregame entertainment will also include contemporary R&B/Hip-Hop star Ciara performing the National Anthem and fellow country artist Eric Church who will headline the Championship Tailgate.

Craig Morgan Headlines AutoZone Liberty Bowl Halftime Show

Country music entertainer, military veteran, award winning TV host and philanthropist CRAIG MORGAN headlined the AutoZone Liberty Bowl Halftime Show in Memphis, TN as Arkansas beat Kansas State 45-23 over the weekend.  The sold out game was seen live by over 60,000 fans and aired on ESPN. Craig also received the AutoZone Liberty Bowl’s Outstanding Achievement Award at the President’s Gala on January 1. Each year, this award is presented in recognition of excellence in the field of music and entertainment, as well as service to the community. Past recipients include Danny Thomas, Elvis Presley, B.B. King, Lou Rawls, Clint Black, Little Richard, Alabama, The Beach Boys, LeAnn Rimes, The O’Jays, KC & The Sunshine Band, The Temptations and Big & Rich.
