Dan Rather, Merle Haggard, Charlie Daniels, and Connie Smith all make appearances in the new documentary about The Chuck Wagon Gang, “America’s Gospel Singers, The Legacy Lives On” which Nashville Arts Magazine announced will air on NPT on November 28, at 7 p.m.
Through vintage recordings and new performances, the film tells the the story of The Chuck Wagon Gang, who had an indelible influence on Southern music, and have sold over 40M records over their eight decade career.
