DRAKE WHITE TO JOIN LITTLE BIG TOWN ON TOUR THIS FALL

Alabama native and Dot Records recording artist Drake White will join platinum-selling music group Little Big Town as direct support on their tour dates this fall. Hearing White play is reminiscent of being in a southern revival tent with a mix of electric and acoustic guitar, bass & drums laying a thick groove, mandolin and fiddle swirling through the air and organ hovering above it all like the high harmony of a gospel choir.  He is turning heads with his foot-stomping, soul-infused new single “It Feels Good” as Rolling Stone recently declared, “…he is a growling, stomping spitfire, blasting his songs with bluesy energy that’s as infectious as his catchy choruses.”

White, named as a “New Country Artist You Need to Know For Spring 2015” by Rolling Stone, is considered one of the “10 Hot Country Artists to Watch in 2015” by Billboard Magazine and made Rolling Stone’s list of the “Best Things We Saw At CMA Fest 2014.”

For the 2015 CMA Festival, White is scheduled to play on Thursday, June 11 at 12:45 PM at the Bud Light Stage. He will also be attending the CMT Music Awards on June 10 at the Bridgestone Arena.

White’s charismatic stage presence is largely due to playing over 200 shows a year with his band The Big Fire both for headline shows and opening slots for a number of like-minded edge-dwellers who’ve helped him grow his audience including Willie Nelson, Eric Church, Toby Keith, Brantley Gilbert, Kid Rock and Lynyrd Skynyrd. He was even called to the stage recently to sing with Zac Brown Band at the Bridgestone Arena.

The official video for “It Feels Good,” was filmed in the Louisiana Bayou and captures the swampy, soulful sound of the song complete with crawfish boil.  But it’s an untraditional, #feelgoodfriday version that has gone viral with over 2 million views in the week it’s been up. Check it out here. Fans can also tune in each Friday to Drake’s socials to see him freestyle each week!

“It Feels Good” is available now to purchase at iTunes.
