Nashville, TN – October 18, 2022 – Thomas Rhett and Katy Perry today release the music video for their duet “Where We Started.” Directed by Patrick Tracy, the video for the title track off Thomas Rhett’s sixth studio album finds each artist contently reflecting on their own journeys. To watch the two superstars at ease as their paths cross for the anthemic track, click HERE.

“Working with Katy has been a really collaborative process,” said Thomas Rhett. “From tracking the song in the studio, to performing on it American Idol, to this video – her input has made this whole experience really special for me.”

Katy shared, “I loved being able to create a dreamy world for ‘Where We Started,’ going back to the Nashville singer-songwriter roots of where I started.”

Ten years after signing his record deal with Big Machine Label Group’s The Valory Music Co., arena-packing superstar Thomas Rhett — dubbed “the most reliable maker of No. 1 singles in country music” (Variety) — has 19 multi-PLATINUM and GOLD-certified No. 1 hits, 12 BILLION streams and the longest current active streak of consecutive No. 1s in the format (Mediabase/Country Aircheck Chart). Declared “a prince in the genre” (USA Today), he has been honored with eight ACM Awards including Entertainer of the Year, two CMA Awards, five GRAMMY nominations, plus trophies from the CMT Music Awards, Billboard Awards and iHeartRadio Awards, in addition to being recognized with two CMA Triple Play awards for penning three No. One songs within a 12-month period. The superstar’s critically-acclaimed sixth studio album WHERE WE STARTED is available now, with single “Half of Me,” featuring Riley Green, currently Top 5 bound at Country radio. Inspired by family, friends and his love of the outdoors, Thomas Rhett is also the cofounder of Dos Primos Tequila and is collaborating with Chaco on an exclusive sandal line. He just wrapped his headlining BRING THE BAR TO YOU TOUR. For more information, visit www.ThomasRhett.com.

Katy Perry has racked up a cumulative 65 billion streams alongside worldwide sales of over 57 million adjusted albums and 138 million tracks. Her summer 2019 single, “Never Really Over,” off her album SMILE was the biggest streaming launch of Katy’s musical career.  Views of her videos “Roar” and “Dark Horse” have each surpassed 3 billion views – making Katy the first and only female artist to reach this milestone. She is one of only 5 artists in history to have topped 100 million certified units with their digital singles – and the first-ever Capitol Records artist to join the RIAA 100 Million Certified Songs club. Katy’s 2015 Super Bowl performance is the highest-rated in the event’s history.

Aside from being one of the best-selling musical artists of all time, Katy is an active advocate of many philanthropic causes. In 2013, Katy was appointed a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador and has used her powerful voice to ensure every child’s right to health, education, equality, and protection. Katy has also been a champion for LGBTQ+ equality, and has received numerous awards for her work, including the Trevor Project’s Hero Award in 2012, the Human Rights Campaign’s National Equality Award in 2017, amfAR’s Award of Courage in 2018, and Variety’s Power of Women distinction in 2021 for her work with her own foundation, the Firework Foundation, whose mission is to empower children from underserved communities by igniting their inner light through the arts.”

She is currently performing her Las Vegas residency, PLAY. Show dates are available at www.katyperry.com/tour.

Home Free Asks “What’s The World Coming To?” In New Video

NASHVILLE, TENN. (October 11, 2019) — Already well-known for their knockout vocals, HOME FREE puts their voices on full display to encourage future generations to step up and make a difference with today’s release of the brand-new video for “What’s the World Coming To?”

Chronicling a young girl’s mission to make the world a better place, the video begins in a classroom, where she finds inspiration for her upcoming science fair project. After learning the unfortunate effects of pollution on the environment, we see her diving into the world of wind power, sketching plans and building a model windmill, which she proudly displays the night of the fair. Flashing forward several years, her project becomes reality, and she stands as a young-adult, examining a massive version of the model she created years prior. WATCH THE VIDEO HERE.

Shot by The Bolo Brothers, the clip is the perfect visual accompaniment to the thought-provoking tune, which was co-written by the group’s bassist, Tim Foust, alongside Eric Arjes and Mark Nesler. “What’s the World Coming To?” serves as one of the 10 original tracks off Home Free’s top-charting album, DIVE BAR SAINTS (Home Free Records).

This weekend, Home Free will wrap the fall leg of their massive DIVE BAR SAINTS WORLD TOUR with back-to-back headlining shows at Nashville’s iconic Ryman Auditorium on Friday (10/11) and Saturday (10/12).

Up next, the quintet has a small winter leg of their DIVE BAR SAINTS WORLD TOUR scheduled before they close out their year in a festive way, embarking on their DIVE BAR CHRISTMAS TOUR at the end of next month. From there, Home Free will continue their DIVE BAR SAINTS WORLD TOUR in the new year, taking the trek overseas and hitting 16 countries with over 100 total shows through October of next year.

Steep Canyon Rangers + Boyz II Men Release “Be Still Moses” Collab Video

WATCH THE “SUBLIME HARMONIES AND SOULFUL AD-LIBS” (ROLLING STONE) COME TO LIFE: youtu.be/-Esd6sFrrYo

The Steep Canyon Rangers performing at the City Green Live Festival in Sandy Springs, Georgia in May 2019.

Steep Canyon Rangers – Asheville, North Carolina’s GRAMMY winners and perennial Billboard chart-toppers – traveled to Nashville this past weekend with 12 members of its hometown Asheville Symphony to join Philadelphia soul legends Boyz II Men for the live debut of their collaborative single “Be Still Moses.” The performance, conducted by Michael Bearden (Lady Gaga, Mary J. Blige), and captured at Nashville’s Schermerhorn Symphony Center, is featured in the official video for “Be Still Moses” premiering today.

Watch Steep Canyon Rangers, Boyz II Men and members of the Asheville Symphony performing “Be Still Moses” for the first time here:youtu.be/-Esd6sFrrYo

“Be Still Moses” effortlessly contrasts the sonorous, bluegrass-flavored baritone of Steep Canyon Rangers’ Woody Platt with the timeless vocal arrangements that defined Boyz II Men’s stratospheric rise in the ’90s. The studio version was produced by Michael Selverne (who had the original idea for the project), Boyz II Men and Joe Mulvihill, and features Steep Canyon Rangers’ hometown Asheville Symphony, 12 of whose members also played on the live version from Nashville. It was released in August of this year, and coincided with the Rangers’ return to North Carolina-based Yep Roc Records.

(watch) Home Free Asks “Why Does It Have To Be (Wrong Or Right)” Exclusively With Popculture.Com

NASHVILLE, TENN. (March 5, 2019) — All-vocal Country entertainers HOME FREE pose the age-old question, “Why Does It Have to Be (Wrong or Right),” in the exclusive video premiere of their vulnerable take on Restless Heart’s top-charting hit on PopCulture.com today (3/5).

Available now to stream and download (Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon), watch the adjoining music video, as tenor Rob Lundquist leads the acclaimed quintet as they deep-dive into a two-timing kind of love. Staged in a vibey neon-lit warehouse in Nashville, TN, Home Free’s smooth vocals drive the hard-pressing lyrics, as bass Tim Foust further shared the band’s connection to the song with PopCulture.com.

“Restless Heart broke boundaries with this song, not only being a bit controversial with the content, but by adding the Pop genre in a market that was straight Country at the time. It was a rule breaker – but aren’t those the best kinds of songs?” said Foust. “We also admire Restless Heart for their incredible harmonies, so we wanted to make sure we stepped up our own. I swear I’ve had this song stuck in my head since the ‘80s, and we’re all just huge fans.”

Lucie Silvas Releases “Black Jeans” Music Video Via Billboard!

“..suspends temperate touches of Laurel Canyon-style psychedelia in a sublime, cinematic haze…” [‘Black Jeans’] – NPR

“Silvas’ vocal power and retro-minded influences – Motown, gospel and smoky soul, align her with show-stopping singers like Adele… positioning her as one of the strongest (and most original) voices” -Rolling Stone

“…addresses the pressures of living up to unreal expectations, especially for women…” [‘Black Jeans’] -Associated Press

(Nashville, TN-March 4, 2019)—Critically acclaimed artist Lucie Silvas releases the music video for her newest single “Black Jeans” via Billboard today. For the video, Lucie once again paired up with Jarrad K, who previously directed her video for “Kite.” Click HERE to view!

Slipping into a soulful cadence on the track, the singer’s dusty delivery evoke sixties Southern California spirit by way of Nashville. Arustle of slide guitar punctuates delicate acoustic strumming as she croons, “When I’m wearing my black jeans, maybe you won’t even recognize me, and you know I won’t just take a backseat.” An album favorite, NPR claimed that it, “suspends temperate touches of Laurel Canyon-style psychedelia in a sublime cinematic haze… and depicts the numbed self- preservation required for a woman to pursue desirability.”

A rafter-reaching vocalist, impressive multi-instrumentalist, and candid narrator, Lucie Silvas continues to endear, entrance, and engage audiences around the globe. Most recently, her 2018 offering, E.G.O., attracted widespread critical acclaim. It debuted on the coveted NPR First Listen feature, while Billboard touted her “wide stylistic reach.” Rolling Stone Country extolled how “Silvas’ vocal power and retro-minded influences – Motown, Gospel and Smoky Soul – align her with show- stopping singers like Adele…positioning her as one of the strongest (and most original) voices.” Representing a cross-section of roots, rock, pop, jazz, soul, and country, E.G.O. marks the dawn of her brightest and boldest chapter yet.

Lucie is currently on tour in North America through the summer.  See the full routing for dates below and click HERE for more info!

ACM Nominee Runaway June Debut Video For Top 25 Hit “Buy My Own Drinks”

Photo Credit: Kristin Barlowe / Design Credit: Glenn Sweitzer

Nashville, Tenn. (March 4, 2019) – Wheelhouse Records trio and nominee for ACM New Duo or Group of the Year RUNAWAY JUNE, “a band that’s well on its way to Country music superstardom” (People.com), debuted the video for the infectiously anthemic single of positivity and empowerment “Buy My Own Drinks” on Rolling Stone Friday with an in depth interview and profile and hit the airwaves on CMT over the weekend. The Top 25 single is off of the band’s self-titled debut EP and is available at all digital retailers and streaming services. Produced by Dann Huff (Keith Urban, Thomas Rhett, Brett Young), and anchored by the single which Music Row Magazine praises as a “runaway hit.”

The video features vignettes of the Runaway June members individually, both in present day and “flashbacks” to their younger selves. Watch the video here.

“The ‘Little Junes’ were the perfect way to capture that carefree feeling of returning to your inner child and getting a little wild,” said Cooke.”In doing, that we can find true liberation.”

In addition to walking the ACM carpet as nominees at this year’s ACM Awards the band will be performing at ACM Party for a Cause.  The band travels this week to Europe to perform at Country 2 Country Festival in the United Kingdom to support their EP before returning to the states for tour dates though out March including a West Coast appearance at Yountville Live.

With their debut EP effort, critics have been propelled to declare, “it’s a rarity an act impresses so fully with their first rodeo, but Wayne, Cooke and Mulholland have already proven they defy the norm. They’re here to conquer,” (B-Sides and Badlands), while others note the ascending trio “is about to blow up…” (Whiskey Riff). Listen to the EP here.

Co-written by Runaway June’s Naomi Cooke, Hannah Mulholland and Jennifer Wayne along with Hillary Lindsey and Josh Kear, listen to “Buy My Own Drinks” here.

About RUNAWAY JUNE:
Lauded by Billboard as the “Next Hot Trend in Country Music” and likened to a ‘Dixie Chicks for a new generation,’ Runaway June’s organic three-part harmonies and ringing strings are sweeping the nation, leaving a mark on one infatuated audience after another with its “inescapable talent” (AXS.com). The BBR Music Group/Wheelhouse Records act is comprised of the vocal stylings and musicianship of Naomi Cooke (lead vocals, guitar); Hannah Mulholland (vocals; guitar; mandolin); and Jennifer Wayne (vocals; guitar).  The trio is receiving rave critical notices from the likes of Billboard, Rolling Stone Country, The Huffington Post, CMT and more for its brand of organic and melodic Country music. Multi-platinum-selling global superstar Carrie Underwood released the official music video for her new single “Love Wins.” The powerful, uplifting and colorful video was directed by Shane Drake. “Love Wins” written by Underwood, David Garcia and Brett James is the new single from her highly-anticipated studio album, Cry Pretty, available on Friday, September 14.  Underwood co-wrote nine of the songs on Cry Pretty which she co-produced alongside David Garcia.

Underwood shares, “This song is hopeful.  It’s saying no matter who you are, what you feel, what you think, we’re all human beings.  We all deserve love.  We all deserve respect and we all should try to show that to one another.”

Cry Pretty has already received early media praise. Rolling Stone declares Underwood as “arena country’s mightiest voice, as Cry Pretty reaffirms” and Entertainment Weekly calls Cry Pretty “her most emotionally accessible work to date.”
