She stepped into the circle on the stage that has hosted virtually every one of her musical heroes and belted out her “Me And Johnny Cash” single and “Never Mine,” both from her debut EP Turn Down The Lights, in front of a packed and very appreciative crowd.
RAINEY QUALLEY MAKES GRAND OLE OPRY® DEBUT
Cingle Records recording artist Rainey Qualley will step on the very same stage that the subject of her new single “Me And Johnny Cash” rocked many times, when she makes her debut on the Grand Ole Opry® on Friday August 28th at the Grand Ole Opry house. Cash actually kicked out the footlights on the hallowed stage during a performance in 1965, a move Qualley makes reference to in her incendiary new single that is currently rising up the charts.
RAINEY QUALLEY DEBUT EP RELEASED
Cingle Records debuted in Nashville earlier this year, and the label this week released its first music to the consumer with singer/songwriter Rainey Qualley’s Turn Down The Lights EP. The Asheville, NC native co-wrote all seven songs on the collection, which was produced by Russ Zavitson and John Ramey. Her debut single, “Me And Johnny Cash,” was just shipped to country radio.

Cingle Records flagship artist Rainey Qualley looked stunning on her first Academy of Country Music Awards red carpet at AT&T Stadium in Dallas Sunday night. She wore a gorgeous cream-colored Esteban Cortazar gown, exquisite jewelry by Lana, Stuart Weitman shoes and carried a gold Judith Leiber Couture clutch.

In a business of dreams, Rainey Qualley has had several come true in recent months. She signed her first record deal, heard her first single on the radio for the first time and signed with a major booking agency among them. This week, she had two more come true on the same night – or nights, actually. She opened for one of her heroes, Willie Nelson, Tuesday and Wednesday nights at the famed Ryman Auditorium.
