Mercury Nashville’s Canaan Smith is set to perform as part of pregame festivities during the College Football Playoff National Championship, Monday, January 11 at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. On the field prior to the game, Canaan will sing “America the Beautiful,” accompanied by a group of elite vocalists from “Encore,” the touring ensemble of the Phoenix Children’s Chorus. In addition to Canaan, the pregame entertainment will also include contemporary R&B/Hip-Hop star Ciara performing the National Anthem and fellow country artist Eric Church who will headline the Championship Tailgate.

Tim Rushlow Gives Holiday Performance for Troops

Tim Rushlow just returned from an undisclosed location where he spent part of his holiday break with Navy Entertainment playing for our troops deployed overseas this holiday season. Tim was Master of Ceremonies at a holiday celebration for our sailors and soldiers, and their families who are stationed abroad. HOME FREE PERFORMS HOLIDAY CLASSIC “I’LL BE HOME FOR CHRISTMAS” ON FOX & FRIENDS THIS MORNING (12/15)

Columbia Records’ country quintet Home Free warmed hearts this morning (12/15) on FOX & Friends with a special rendition of the winter classic “I’ll Be Home For Christmas” from their holiday album, FULL OF CHEER. Adding to the spirit of the season, portions of the performance were featured split-screen with footage from their music video showing soldiers reuniting with their families for Christmas. The time-honored holiday favorite, recorded in 1943 by Bing Crosby, was originally in tribute to the soldiers overseas during World War II that weren’t able to make it home for Christmas. Home Free is currently in the midst of their sold-out HOME FREE FOR THE HOLIDAYS Tour running through December 20 and will embark in January for their European debut.
