FOCUS on the 615 recently spent time at a very special event sponsored by NRA Country and Remington Arms called Ladies Range Day aka “High Heels & Caliber” at the Nashville Armory. This was the first event event we know of its kind and was organized by Morgan Mills.
NRA Country and country music will be front-and-center on the streets of downtown Nashville next week, with free outdoor concerts set for Thursday, April 9 through Sunday, April 12. The entertainment will rock in two locations, starting up on Thursday with artists on the NRA Country Sound Stage (at 5th and Demonbreun). Headliners on that stage include singer/songwriter Josh Thompson (Thursday, 4/9) country starlet Cheryl LuQuire (Friday, 4/10), and American Idol alum Bucky Covington (Saturday, 4/11). “Redneck Crazy” singer Tyler Farr will be at the NRA Country booth on Sunday, 4/12 at 1:00PM. Fans can meet Tyler and pre-order his new album Suffer In Peace featuring the smash hit “A Guy Walks Into A Bar” which releases April 28. Rising country star and outdoor enthusiast Jon Pardi has been chosen as NRA Country’s Featured Artist for March. The California native has received high praise for his debut album,Write You A Song, featuring hits “Up All Night” and “Missin’ You Crazy.” Pardi was hand-picked by country legend Alan Jackson to join him on his 25th anniversary Keepin’ It Country Tour this spring, hitting Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on April 11th, presented by NRA. In between touring with Alan Jackson and selling-out his own headlining shows, Pardi is writing and recording music for his upcoming sophomore album.
Grammy, ACM, CMA and Emmy winning country legend HANK WILLIAMS JR. and groundbreaking country star COLT FORD will light up lower Broadway in Nashville, Tennessee on Friday, April 10 for the FIFTH ANNUAL NRA COUNTRY JAM, presented by Bushnell with Folds of Honor. The concert, free and open to the public, will rock the streets of Music City and is sure to be a great night for visitors and locals alike. The announcement comes during a busy time, as he preps to launch his highly-anticipated new studio album, Ignite The Night, set to release August 19 and available for pre-order now. Country star and outdoor enthusiast Colt Ford has been chosen as NRA Country’s Featured Artist for July. The announcement comes during an exciting week, on the heels of the release of his highly anticipated new album, Thanks for Listening.
