Country music songstress, Julie Roberts, launches new music today with the release of her brand-new single, “ I Couldn’t Make You Love Me,” an empowering song to inspire and encourage listeners to keep pressing onwards and upwards. “I’ve been spending the last year digging more into my spiritual life and I am so connected to the words I sing in this song,” says Roberts. “I know they came to me exactly when I was supposed to hear them and they will land exactly on the ears God intends to hear them.” The new track can be streamed and downloaded HERE.
Co-penned by Rudy Perez, Mark Portmann, and the great John Bettis, the track’s emotive lyric connected with Roberts instantly and is what prompted her to make this song her first release in three years. Roberts gave her fans a sneak peek of her recording process on Facebook Live yesterday, (May 16).
With the release of “I Couldn’t Make You Love Me,” Roberts has more underway with new music to be unveiled next month. Follow Julie Roberts on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for all the latest information.
