Young celebrated the milestone seventh chart-topper with a performance on the popular daytime show yesterday, and the clip has earned over 1.4 million views in under 24 hours on the show’s Facebook page. RCA Nashville’s Chris Young is adding to the accolades for his chart-topping fifth studio album, I’m Comin’ Over, as the title track lead single celebrates a third week at #1.”I’m Comin’ Over” leaps into the #1 position on Mediabase’s Country Aircheck chart, while reigning for a third week atop the Billboard Top Country Airplay chart. This is not the first time Young has laid claim to the top spot for three or more weeks – “The Man I Want To Be” achieved the same feat in 2010.
RCA Nashville’s Chris Young earned the seventh #1 single of his career last week with the RIAA Gold-certified title track to his I’m Comin’ Over album, and now, his first co-produced collection debuts at #1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart, with first-week sales of 57,147 according to Nielsen Music.
RCA Records Nashville artist Chris Young celebrated his latest No. 1 single, “I’m Comin’ Over,” the title track to his just released fifth studio album, with an appearance on NBC’s Today Show earlier this morning. The chart-topper is his sixth to hit the top spot on the Billboard Country Airplay Chart and his seventh No. 1 overall. Young was surprised with the news on-air by Today Show anchor Matt Lauer before performing “I’m Comin’ Over,” returning again in the 10am hour to sing fan favorite, “Aw Naw.”
With just days to go until the release of his new album I’m Comin’ Over on November 13, fans are invited to make a date with Chris Young in the new year and join him on the 2016 “I’m Comin’ Over” Tour, presented by AEG Live. Young will extend his headlining tour into 2016, inviting powerhouse vocalist and “Think Of You” duet partner Cassadee Pope to join as special guest, opening thirteen shows beginning January 21.

A total of 290 guests gave an invaluable gift to those who have served our country through the purchase of a table at Charlie Daniels’ birthday bash on October 27 at The Palm restaurant in downtown Nashville, which raised funds for (501)(c) non-profit The Journey Home Project.

It’s a birthday party invitation like no other – and tickets are still available to salute country star Charlie Daniels for his 79th birthday on Tuesday, October 27 at The Palm Restaurant on 5th Ave S. in downtown Nashville.

American heroes of the United States military, as well as country superstar Chris Young and rising artist Ryan Weaver, will join hands with the Nashville community to salute Daniels while benefiting The Journey Home Project, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization Daniels co-founded to assist veterans and their families in meeting their financial, educational and healthcare needs as they make their integration back into civilian life.
Daniels, known for hits like “Devil Went Down To Georgia,” “Southern Boy,” and many others, will be in attendance at the premiere event to meet and greet with guests and provide a one-of-a-kind experience.
A silent auction will also take place for guests to bid on valuable signed merchandise and rare memorabilia, which has been donated to raise supplementary funds for The Journey Home Project.
Country star Chris Young, who has celebrated recent top country hits like “Tomorrow,” “Voices” and “I’m Comin’ Over,” is slated to perform as part of the evening’s top-notch entertainment line-up alongside country newcomer Ryan Weaver. Weaver served in the military as Chief Warrant Officer 3 as a Blackhawk Helicopter Aviator and also serves as a national spokesperson for The Journey Home Project.
Later in the evening, honorary speaker Lieutenant General (Retired) Keith M. Huber will speak on behalf of veterans and Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU). As revealed in a press release from Charlie Daniels and The Journey Home Project on Sept. 28, funds from The Journey Home Project will be donated to MTSU in order to assist in the completion of the school’s new Veterans and Military Families Center on campus.
Doors will open and the silent auction will begin at 6:30 p.m. CDT, followed by a signature surf-and-turf dinner fresh from The Palm’s kitchen. The official program and live auction will kick off at 8 p.m. CDT.
The event is produced by David Corlew & Associates.
