Chart-topping Duo, The LACS, to Release Digital EP “Smoke Stack” April 15, 2014

 

Fueled by fan demand for new music, country chart-toppers, The LACS, are set to release their new 4-song EP, “Smoke Stack,” on April 15 on iTunes via Average Joes Entertainment.  “Smoke Stack,” available for download at iTunes, is the first new music to come from the highly successful duo since the release of their #3 Billboard Country Album last year, “Keep It Redneck.”  The video for the EP title track, “Smoke Stack,” will be released in the coming weeks. Awesome October for Average Joes Entertainment Company Celebrates Fifth-Year Anniversary With New Releases, Milestone Achievements

October 2013 marks the 5th Anniversary of Average Joes Entertainment. In the five years since the solely independent entertainment company opened its doors, Average Joes has achieved numerous milestones including a #1 Billboard Top Country Album, 1 million Colt Ford Facebook fans and hundreds of millions of roster YouTube views.

Album Review: JJ Lawhorn ‘Original Good Ol’ Boy’

JJ LawhornAverage Joe’s country artist JJ Lawhorn has just released his new 13-track album entitled ‘Original Good Ol’ Boy’ produced by Jeremy Stover and executive producer, Shannon “Fat Shan” Houchins.  

To be honest, there was only one track on the entire album that I enjoyed.  It was a surprisingly touching song at moments, but with a little too much cheesiness for my taste called “Good Ol’ Boys Like Us”.  I liked the melody of this one, but even it made me cringe a little because of the lyrics with all of the references of good ol’ boys, pickup trucks, and slinging mud as it talked about what Heaven would be like for good ol’ boys aka rednecks.  Continue Reading →
