About Restless Road

Made up of three different but complementary voices, country band Restless Road is “one of the most intriguing and exciting acts of the year” (Wide Open Country). Praised by People, Taste of Country, Billboard, and more, the trio’s powerhouse harmonies and soul-baring lyrics have accumulated nearly 200 million cumulative career streams and amassed a following of over 4 million on their social media platforms. As NBC’s Today Show host Hoda Kotb put it, “That harmony…you feel it in your soul.”

In 2019, Restless Road (Zach Beeken, Colton Pack and Garrett Nichols) has been honing their craft, nurturing their songwriting skills, and perfecting their signature harmonies.  After signing with Kane Brown’s joint venture with Sony Music Nashville, the band began their journey to success.

The trio released their self-titled debut EP in 2020, as well as a string of singles including “Bar Friends,” “Sundown Somewhere,” and their Sirius XM The Highway #1 hit “Growing Old With You.”  The success of the track and a performance on ABC’s The Bachelor catapulted the trio into a new level of stardom.  With the trios “captivating melody and lyrics” (American Songwriter), the trio has been featured by Billboard, CMT, EXTRA, The Today Show, and more and was recently named as one of Opry’s Next Stage Artists.

With all signs indicating Restless Road as a contender for best new vocal group, its members continue to write, sing, and perform together as they take the next steps down country music’s long and winding road.

Album Review: Miranda Lambert | WILDCARD

Pull up your bar stool and get ready, folks! Miranda Lambert just released her seventh solo album, WILDCARD, today. It features 14 tracks full of grit, sass, and depth as only Miranda can deliver. Available for purchase on her website and all online retailers.

I was lucky enough to be able to attend an advance live preview of this album despite being way under the weather that day, but it was Miranda, so I showed up. I have been excited about it ever since, and could not wait for her fans to hear it. In short, the album is stellar, and pure Miranda Lambert.

I have always loved her sass, spunk, and honesty. What you see is what you get with Miranda. She continues to release great music reminiscent of country greats like Loretta Lynn with a Texas twist and that fire mixed with playfulness that is pure Miranda Lambert that appeals to both traditionalists and new country fans alike.

Favorites off the album are: “Mess With My Head”, “Holy Water”, “It All Comes Out In The Wash”, “Tequila Does”, the poignant “Bluebird”, and the fun “Way Too Pretty For Prison” with Maren Morris. To be honest, I could probably just go straight down the list and tell you what I love about each and every track. It is THAT good.

With the women of country music struggling to get radio airplay and the days of artists stopping by retailers like Wal-Mart gone since they are not really carrying physical cds anymore due to the shift towards digital music and streaming, Lambert worries how she will get her music heard and out to the masses. As with artists of all genres, not just country, the way now to get the music out there and to be able to continue making it is through persistent touring since they can not rely on album sales anymore.

I hope as long as she can, that she continues making music and her fans continue to support her. Buy the album and see her perform live in a town near you.

Also, catch her on some of these upcoming TV appearances:

Friday (11/1), she’ll hit NBC’s “TODAY” and ABC’s “The View” and Sunday (11/3) she’ll chat with “Sunday TODAY” host Willie Geist for the Sunday Sitdown.

Later Friday night, Lambert will perform an intimate Wildcard set and chat with iHeartRadio’s Brooke Taylor during the “iHeartCountry Album Release Party with Miranda Lambert” at the iHeartRadio Theater in New York City. Fans can tune into a radio broadcast on iHeartMedia’s Mainstream Country radio stations and a 30-minute video stream on iHeartRadio.com/MirandaLambert on Nov. 6 at 7:00

Rated: 5 out of 5 stars

October 4, 2019 (Nashville, TN) – After a whirlwind year, rising Nashville band KING CALAWAY has released today their debut full-length album Rivers via BBR Music Group’s Stoney Creek Records – available everywhere NOW. The 12-track album was co-produced by Robert Deaton and Ross Copperman. Copperman also penned several of the tracks amongst other songwriters including Mitchell Tenpenny, Devin Dawson, Teddy Geiger, and many more.

The band expressed their excitement stating, “Rivers is a milestone in all of our lives and a new chapter in our journey as a band. We could not be more proud of what we have created.”

In the short time since their debut, King Calaway has already taken the world by storm – from performing with Ricky Skaggs at the Grand Ole Opry, appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, making their CMA Fest debut, opening for Garth Brooks at one of his stadium dates, to headlining a festival in Gibraltar, King Calaway has already accomplished major milestones most Country artists can only dream of. The band was lauded by Rolling Stone for bringing an “exuberance to the stage…each taking solo parts between lushly harmonized chorus parts.”

ABOUT KING CALAWAY:
After a whirlwind year since their debut EP was released in January 2019, King Calaway is proof that there’s strength in numbers. Their eponymous EP in January 2019 features hit single “World For Two,” which became the #1 most added song at country radio in its debut week. Their first full-length album Rivers – out now on BBR Music Group/Stoney Creek Records – builds on the five-song EP’s success, with seven new tracks and was executive produced by Robert Deaton and Ross Copperman. After being named one of the seven new country acts to watch out for by Billboard, the band continues to take the country music industry by storm from multiple performances at the famed Grand Ole Opry – including an incredible performance moment with the legendary Ricky Skaggs – to making their late night television performance debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and an appearance on the internationally acclaimed show Neighbours. They’ve brought their energetic live show to various stages, including a CMA Fest debut and opening slots for Rascal Flatts and Garth Brooks. Hailing from across the globe – from the small towns of the American Midwest to the small coastal country of Gibraltar; from the Atlantic Seaboard to the Central Belt of Scotland – King Calaway brings a worldly perspective. They’re country stars for a new generation, singing songs that erase the boundaries between genres and countries. King Calaway isn’t looking to blend into the crowd. They’re not even looking to fit in. They’re in the business of standing out…and King Calaway stands tall.

Justin Moore Defines Tradition On LATE NIGHTS AND LONGNECKS (4/26)

NASHVILLE, TN (March 5, 2019) — Equal parts celebration and reflection, Justin Moore’s new album LATE NIGHTS AND LONGNECKS — due April 26 via The Valory Music Co. — is a showcase for Moore’s evocative storytelling and unforgettable voice, complemented by an all-star band featuring GRAMMY and CMA Award-winning guitar icon Brent Mason ACM-winning pedal steel hero Paul Franklin among others. Tipping its cap to Alan Jackson and George Strait, the record is Moore’s most traditional-sounding collection to date, a no-frills portrait of small-town life and big-time dreams that’s not afraid to let its hair down and party at the end of a hard day’s work.

“I’ve never worked with those guys [Mason and Franklin] before, but they’ve played on some of my favorite albums of all time,” says Moore. “We thought it would be really cool to bring them in and record the whole thing at The Castle, this historic studio just south of Nashville where a lot of those legendary hit records were made.”

Throughout his career, Moore has remained devoted to the simple things in life, treasuring his relationship with his wife and four kids and even taking time out from his relentless tour schedule to coach their basketball and softball teams. An Arkansas native, Moore grew up idolizing country legends like Dwight Yoakam and Keith Whitley and it was those pillars of his life — home, family, tradition — that he found himself compelled to return to with LATE NIGHTS AND LONGNECKS.

With that in mind, Moore headed back to the beach where it all began, and this time, he invited some of his favorite Nashville collaborators to join him. Collaborating alongside longtime producer Jeremy Stover and Big Machine Label Group President/CEO Scott Borchetta, the resulting tracks exude the same blend of laidback cool and incisive intuition that marked the writing sessions, mixing playful tales of small-town joy and family pride with more introspective musings on broken hearts and hard times. Raucous album opener “Why We Drink” kicks things off with a wry smile, as Moore rattles off a seemingly endless list of justifications for cracking open a cold one.

Alcohol is a constant companion on the record, but Moore paints a complex picture of his characters’ relationship with it. Sometimes it’s medication (“Never Gonna Drink Again”); sometimes it’s escape (“Airport Bar”); sometimes it’s a memory you’d rather forget (“Jesus and Jack Daniels”).

It’s not all journeys to the bottom of the bottle, though. The tender “That’s My Boy” explores the timeless bond a father shares with his son, while the driving “Small Town Street Cred” celebrates the uncomplicated joys of rural living, and the emotional “The Ones That Didn’t Make It Back Home” honors the soldiers, nurses, first responders, and teachers who’ve made the ultimate sacrifice in order to help make the world a better place for the rest of us.

The desire for comfort and connection is what LATE NIGHTS AND LONGNECKS is all about. Some characters find it at the bar, some find it at home, some don’t find it at all, but at the end of the day, they all share the search in common, asking the big questions and facing down the future in the process. For Moore, moving forward meant going back to where it all began.

LATE NIGHTS AND LONGNECKS is available everywhere April 26. In the meantime, Moore will headline arenas and amphitheaters across the US, and an extensive 2019 Fall tour will be announced in the coming weeks. For album purchase and tour dates, visit JustinMooreMusic.com.

ABOUT JUSTIN MOORE:
After signing to The Valory Music Co., Justin Moore landed his first country #1 with “Small Town USA,” the breakout single off his 2009 self-titled debut. The record went platinum, as did its 2011 follow-up, OUTLAWS LIKE ME which yielded yet another #1 single with “If Heaven Wasn’t So Far Away.” In 2014, Moore landed the coveted New Artist of the Year trophy at the ACM Awards after releasing his critically acclaimed third album, OFF THE BEATEN PATH and in 2016, he dropped KINDA DON’T CARE his third consecutive No. 1 record. The New York Times hailed Moore as proof that “old forms can stand even stronger with injections of new ideas,” while Billboard celebrated his “down-home personality and wry sense of humor,” and Rolling Stone praised the “upbeat mix of contemporary country and honest twang that he perfected.” Moore’s songs racked up more than a billion on-demand and programmed streams, and he performed everywhere from Kimmel to TODAY in addition to headlining arenas and amphitheaters around the country. His current single “The Ones That Didn’t Make It Back Home” is available everywhere now.   Get it herehttps://JustinMoore.lnk.to/TOTDMIBH

ABOUT ELI YOUNG BAND:
The Eli Young Band has always been unique in modern Country music – a true band who plays their own instruments, writes their own songs, and clings fast to their Texas roots. After a storied career, they’ll release THIS IS ELI YOUNG BAND (GREATEST HITS), including their Top 20-and-rising single “Love Ain’t,” via The Valory Music Co. on March 29. Gravitating towards titles with lyrical twists – #1s: PLATINUM “Drunk Last Night,” 2X PLATINUM “Even If It Breaks Your Heart” and 3X PLATINUM “Crazy Girl” – EYB naturally fell into a groove recording the Ross Copperman, Ashley Gorley and Shane McAnally-penned track alongside producer Dann Huff. The new single follows the album FINGERPRINTS that showcased a signature mix of heartfelt phrases over driving rhythms. Their impressive trajectory also includes the chart-topping 10,000 TOWNS album, which produced singles earning Billboard’s #1 Country Song of the Year and ACM Awards Song of the Year. EYB has previously earned multiple nominations from GRAMMY, CMA, CMT, ACA and Teen Choice Awards. They have performed on national television shows such as TODAY, Conan, Late Show with David Letterman, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and FOX & Friends. While selling out venues as a headliner from coast to coast, EYB has toured with Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts, Tim McGraw, Jason Aldean, Toby Keith, Darius Rucker and Dave Matthews Band.
