The critically-acclaimed music series “Front and Center” and the Country Music Association (CMA) have announced another special taping for the CMA Songwriters Series with multi-Platinum selling Country star Kip Moore.

Moore, who recently released his sophomore album Wild Ones, will do an acoustic performance on Monday, Sept. 21 at the Iridium in New York City, the first time the venue will be used for a CMA Songwriters Series taping. A songwriter in his own right, Moore co-wrote all three of his No.1 singles; every track on Wild Ones; and penned songs for Jake Owen and Thompson Square. He will take the stage for this special performance with renowned songwriters Brett James and Jaren Johnston.

Both James and Johnston, in addition to their own notable songwriting credits (artists who have recorded songs penned by James include Backstreet Boys, Dierks Bentley, Jon Bon Jovi, Chicago, and Carrie Underwood and Jonston’s songs have been cut by Bentley, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw and Keith Urban, as well as his own band Cadillac Three), have written and collaborated with Moore during his career.

Tickets for the show will be on sale tomorrow, Sept. 15 and can be purchased here.

Moore’s debut album Up All Night spawned three No.1 singles including “Beer Money,” “Hey Pretty Girl,” and “Somethin’ ‘Bout a Truck.” Moore will be performing stripped-down versions of his hits as well as songs taken from Wild OnesBillboard Top Country Albums Chart, with his latest single “I’m To Blame” climbing the charts. After his “Front and Center” performance, Moore will bring his “Wild Ones Tour” to Terminal 5 in New York on Dec. 3. Tickets are available now through Ticketmaster.

Other CMA Songwriters Series tapings for the next season of “Front and Center” include Steven Tyler, the iconic songwriter and prolific voice of the best-selling American rock band, Aerosmith, who shot his show in New York City at the Melrose Ballroom last week; specials featuring CMA Award winner and Grand Ole Opry member Darius Rucker; and a very special pairing of Country Music icon Ronnie Dunn and reigning CMA New Artist of the Year Brett Eldredge, which were shot in Nashville at Marathon Music Works.

“Front and Center” is the critically-acclaimed, original one-hour concert series that airs commercial-free on public television. Now in its sixth season, the show has presented an eclectic mix of Grammy, CMA, and American Music Award winners, rock icons, and multi-Platinum sellers including Bentley, Counting Crows, Goo Goo Dolls, Jack Johnson, Lady Antebellum, Cyndi Lauper, The Fray, Train, Urban, and more.

“Front and Center” is a production of Front and Center Entertainment, LLC in association with WLIW21 for WNET, and distributed by American Public Television.
