Rhyme Partners and its owner/songwriter, Melissa Bollea, are celebrating three years on Music Row this summer with some exciting announcements. Bollea, senior staff writer Bill DiLuigi, and recording artist Mary Sarah recently had their song “Dress Up This Town” picked up for a national ad campaign by Boot Barn, giving the company attention from the ad world for their ability to pen songs that promote brands in addition to hits.

“We are thrilled because we feel we have really hit our stride. We have signed several new writers,” she says of SESAC writers Doug and Kayliann Lowe, ASCAP writer Brian Desveaux and BMI writer Charlie Greene. “Bill (DiLuigi) and I are really penning some great songs and the Boot Barn spot could not have turned out better.”

The company is the home of over 70 cuts on Music Row and beyond. They are proud of their summer writers roster, mentoring programs, and artist Brecken Miles, the Milwaukee based lead singer of the well established band “Bella Cain” who is making a name for himself in Nashville with Rhyme Partners help. Bollea, known on Music Row as one of the biggest cheerleaders of songwriters, both emerging and established, has made a sincere effort to nurture songwriting talent for years.

Many of Bollea’s publishing colleagues feel the successes Rhyme Partners is having are well deserved. “Melissa is a prolific songwriter, savvy businesswoman, and the hardest working person I know in the music industry,” says Hall Of Fame songwriter Bobby Braddock.
