Following the successful release of their debut single “Crazy Too” to country radio, Pepsi.com has named Lucy Angel one of Five Country Stars Lighting Up 2015 Out Of Nowhere.
The family trio, comprised of mother Kate and daughters Lindsay and Emily Anderton, released their self-titled album in January and the lead-off single hit radio May 26.
“With their impossibly close, God-given family harmonies, the Anderton women evoke comparisons to Emmylou Harris and Dolly Parton,” according to Pepsi.com.
Alongside Lucy Angel on the Pepsi list are the next generation of country superstars, including Kelsea Ballerini, who holds this week’s No. 1 spot on country radio, I.R.S. Records duo Striking Matches, Universal Music Group artist Chris Stapleton and Capitol Records artist Mickey Guyton.
“After AXS TV ran a special on the family entitled “Discovering Lucy Angel” one thing was clear: these girls were destined for stardom,” according to Pepsi.com.
Lucy Angel is currently on a nationwide radio tour in support of their single.
