VINCE VAUGHN ACCEPTS NASHVILLE KEY TO THE CITY AS PART OF WILD WEST COMEDY FESTIVAL

Vince Vaughn was honored for his efforts in highlighting Music City as a comedy destination with the highly successful Wild West Comedy Festival.

Mayor Karl Dean and Butch Spyridon, President, Nashville Convention & Visitors Corporation, were on hand to present Vaughn with the “Key,” a framed piano key from Nashville artist Ben Folds’ piano that was damaged in the 2010 flood. The event preceded comedian Frank Caliendo’s festival debut at TPAC’s Polk Theater.

Vaughn is the president of Wild West Productions, an entertainment production company that produces the Comedy Festival. Wild West has partnered with Nashville-based Outback Concerts and Zanies Comedy Club in producing the festival.

This is the festival’s second year in Nashville, with over 30 comedy shows over six days at multiple locations throughout the city. The Festival began on Tuesday night and continues through Sunday night.
