Musicians Corner, Centennial Park’s free music series, will kick off its fifth anniversary spring season on May 9th.Performances will take place each Saturday from 12-5pm, capping the season off with back-to-back gatherings on June 27 & 28th. Musicians Corner will be located in the front of Centennial Park by 25th Ave and West End. Construction is underway on the permanent location, which is expected to be ready for the fall 2015 season.
Musicians Corner Executive Director John Tumminello expressed his excitement for the spring season saying, “2015 is shaping up to be a huge year for Musicians Corner. We are celebrating our fifth anniversary and will be moving into our permanent location for the fall season. We could not be more proud of how the Nashville community has embraced this musical tradition over the past five years and we’re looking forward to our next five years.”
Each week, Musicians Corner will host a mix of Nashville’s best food trucks, courtesy of the Nashville Food Truck Association, a Kidsville activities area hosted by Mix 92.9, Dogville activities with The Farm at Natchez Trace, and the Musicians Corner Pub.
