Looking Back At CMA Music Festival 2015: My Wrap-Up

One of my favorite weeks during the year in Nashville is CMA Music Festival.  It’s 4 days filled with fun and music at the largest country music festival in the world held in the home of country music! Oh, and there’s ALWAYS the summer heat that seems to turn up a notch on that week, too.  It’s always a given! Grab your sunblock and drink plenty of water, you’ll survive it! There’s too much to enjoy about the festival and great music to be had to let those high temps keep you away.

CITY OF HOPE CELEBRITY SOFTBALL GAME HITS A HOME RUN IN ITS 25th YEAR

It was a homerun for the 25th Annual City of Hope Celebrity Softball Game,  which saw more than 20 music and sports stars step up to the plate to strike out cancer at First Tennessee Park in Nashville. Team iHeart topped Team Opry in a down to the wire 6 to 5 win. Continue Reading →

Lightning 100’s Live On The Green announces dates for 2015 season!

Musicians Corner Announces Spring Lineup

imageMusicians Corner, Centennial Park’s free music series, will kick off its fifth anniversary spring season on May 9th.Performances will take place each Saturday from 12-5pm, capping the season off with back-to-back gatherings on June 27 & 28th. Musicians Corner will be located in the front of Centennial Park by 25th Ave and West End. Construction is underway on the permanent location, which is expected to be ready for the fall 2015 season.

Pleasant spring temperatures brought out the crowds for the first night of the 23rd Annual Tin Pan South Songwriters Festival Presented by Regions Bank. Packed Festival venues all across town presented a diverse group of songwriters that covered virtually every genre of music, and there was no shortage of surprises last night.
