Lightning 100 proudly announces the return of the Live On The Green Music Festival to Public Square Park in downtown Nashville. In its seventh year, Nashville’s premiere free music festivalwill take place Thursdays August 20, 27 and September 3, and will wrap up with a weekend finale planned for September 10, 11 and 12.
While the official artist lineup will remain under wraps until June 24, festival organizers hinted that a number of exciting announcements are expected in the interim. Fans can expect to see further improvements to the festival site and its various entertainment offerings, and look forward to experiencing some altogether new additions to the event. The site footprint is expected to be similar to 2014, and will encompass all of 3rd Avenue N between Union Street and James Robertson Parkway, and will extend up Deaderick Street to 4th Avenue. Produced and presented by WRLT Lightning 100.1 FM, Live On The Green is Nashville’s premiere free outdoor music festival. Since its inception in 2009, over 316,000 fans from 37 states and 12 countries have attended the event.
