Rascal Flatts Wrap Vegas Residency

imageSuperstar vocal group Rascal Flatts’ Vegas residency wrapped this weekend, following a nine-show run at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.  The first-ever country residency to take place at the intimate venue featured show-stopping performances receiving critical praise, with Las Vegas Sun touting it as a “straightforward jam session with one of country music’s biggest acts in the past decade.”  For their last show, the trio brought out surprise guest Vince Neil of Mötley Crüe for a ground shaking version of “Kickstart My Heart.”

“Our Vegas residency far exceeded any expectations we might have had,” said Joe Don Rooney. “It was truly a bucket list wish of ours and getting to spend time with our fans on a more personal level each night has made us so ready to get back on the road and play more shows this summer.”

Hot on the heels of their stint in Sin City, Rascal Flatts will head straight into preparation for their headlining RIOT TOUR 2015 kicking off on May 29. The ACM “Vocal Group Of The Year” nominees have also invited Scotty McCreery and RaeLynn on the coast to coast summer tour.

ACM “Vocal Group of The Year” nominees Rascal Flatts (Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney) have earned over 40 trophies from the ACAs, ACMs, AMAs, CMAs, People’s Choice Awards and more making them the most awarded country group of the past decade. To date the trio have scored 15 No. One songs, sold over 22.8 million albums, over 29 million digital downloads, and their current ninth studio album REWIND (Big Machine Records) debuted at #1 on the Billboard Country Albums chart making them one of only four acts during the SoundScan era to have eight consecutive studio albums debut in the top spot. Their current single “Riot,” taken from the album, is impacting radio now. For the latest updates, visit www.rascalflatts.com.

So glad that the tour was great for the guys. They make music people like and touches people’s lives. I met the guys in 2012 in Bangor Maine and they are just down to earth. This is why I am such a HUGE Rascal Flatts Fan.
