On the spurs of his hot new single, “All Country On You,” Streamsound Records and Austin Webb have formed a strategic partnership with Country Outfitter, announced today (3/16) by Streamsound Records CEO/President Steve Richardson. Austin Webb’s new single, “All Country On You” follows up his Top 40 hit, “Slip On By.” Co-written by Mark Irwin, Josh Kearand Chris Tompkins, the same songwriters who wrote the radio hits “Before He Cheats” by Carrie Underwoodand Tyler Farr’s “Redneck Crazy,” and produced by Grammy award-winner and Streamsound Records co-owner Byron Gallimore (Tim McGraw, Sugarland, Faith Hill.)
In a recent interview with The Boot, Webb revealed his motivation for releasing the new single, explaining, “I wanted to be able to put a song out on the radio that sort of combined Carrie Underwood‘s ‘Before He Cheats’ and Miranda Lambert’s ‘Gunpowder and Lead,’ but how does a guy pull off a song, like a girl would, talkin’ about how bad the guy is, and still empower the woman at the same time?”
