Coming straight off her smash summertime single, “Put It In Your Pocket,” Sonia Leigh delivers yet again with her latest release, “When We Are Alone,” which debuted this weekend on Sirius XM The Highway’s On The Horizon. Co-written and produced by Danny Myrick, Leigh says the single “pushed creative boundaries.” An exclusive live acoustic performance of “When We Are Alone” is currently featured on Nash Unplugged HERE.

An emerging artist, Leigh has already demonstrated her prolific songwriting skills with the well-known hits “Sweet Annie” and “Goodbye In Her Eyes.” Her special brand of female-attitude and modern country has been seen alongside such well-known names as Eric Church, Eli Young Band, Loretta Lynn and Willie Nelson.
ABOUT SONIA: Sonia Leigh relocated to Nashville in 2012 from her longtime home of Atlanta, Georgia and quickly won over the hearts of audiences and industry alike with her gritty vocal delivery and bold, disarmingly honest approach to songwriting. She found success in Music City with the release of 1978 December (distributed through Zac Brown’s Southern Ground Label). Her Summer independent release,“Put It In Your Pocket,” debuted as a Highway Find on Sirius XM’s The Highway and climbed to the Top 20s on their Hot 45 Countdown. She has performed extensively worldwide as both a headliner and support act for such well-known names as Eric Church, Eli Young Band, Loretta Lynn, and Willie Nelson. Also an accomplished songwriter, she co-wrote the Zac Brown Band’s smash hits “Goodbye In Her Eyes” and “Sweet Annie.” More information & tour dates can be found at: www.SoniaLeigh.com
