City Winery Nashville will expand its delicious offerings by adding brunch service starting this Saturday, December 6. In addition, plans for New Year’s Eve have been announced featuring the legendary Marty Stuart & His Fabulous Superlatives.
Executive chef Kristin Beringson and her staff have developed a menu that includes an array of classic brunch dishes, along with a few staples from the dinner menu such as the popular KLD farm burger. Diners can build their own biscuits with a variety of meats, cheeses and egg styles. The brunch also boasts a full cocktail menu featuring specialties by beverage director, David Mensch.
Brunch will be served every Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. and will feature live music beginning in 2015. In celebration of the New Year, City Winery will host a special brunch New Year’s Day with live music, special sparkling cocktails and build-your-own Bloody Mary’s.
“Nashville is hungry for more brunch spots and we’ve always had plans to put our unique stamp on it,” said Chef Beringson. “We’re excited to launch our brunch service and hope the community loves the menu that I had so much fun creating.”
To help ring in the New Year right, City Winery will be hosting a slew of New Year’s Eve festivities including two shows by the five-time Grammy winning multi-instrumentalist and singer songwriter, Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives. Both the 7 p.m. and11 p.m. shows will offer a variety of ticket packages including the VIP Dinner Ticket Packages, which will include a prix-fixe five-course dinner (which will also be offered in the restaurant throughout the evening) with wine pairings in City Winery’s barrel room.
In the lounge, City Winery will be hosting “Pop the Cork: A Night of Champagne and Desserts,” where guests will toast to 2015 by enjoying festive music, sparkling wine samples, bites and a breathtaking view of the fireworks over the Nashville skyline. Tickets can be purchased for $45 and include five sparkling wine samples, cheese and desserts.
