PEOPLE COUNTRY DECLARES CHASE BRYANT “SEXY & SENTIMENTAL” IN DEBUT VIDEO/ CMT PREMIERES TODAY

imageRising star Chase Bryant’s debut music video for “Take It On Back” premieres on CMT today  amidst accolades from radio and press alike.

The RED BOW artist’s debut single “Take It On Back” rests this week at #18 on the Country Aircheck/ USA Today chart (powered by Mediabase) and #19 on the Billboard Country Songs chart.

Additionally, Bryant’s very first music video has found him lauded as “Sexy” by People Country magazine – a coveted declaration for any newcomer.

People Country has the exclusive sneak peek of Bryant’s video for “Take It On Back” which was filmed aboard a vintage locomotive and at the Tennessee Railway Museum in Nashville. The storyline for the video holds special meaning for the 22-year-old guitar aficionado, who was very close to his grandfather Jimmy Bryant, sideman for legendary artists Waylon Jennings, Roy Orbison and Buddy Holly.

“My grandfather was super into trains,” Bryant tells People Country. “He was fascinated by them and collected them his entire life. . . There were railroad tracks by my grandfather’s house but trains didn’t run through there very often. On the day my grandfather died – at the very moment it happened, I kid you not – a huge freight train came barreling down that track. . .”

ABOUT CHASE BRYANT

Music defines Chase Bryant. At every level his truths are expressed in melody, lyrics, hooks and sounds … but his reality goes even deeper than that. Bryant’s heritage is defined by music.  His upbringing, his craft, his inspiration and his obsessions are all centered in the same. How else could a 22-year-old be a top-flight guitar player, head-turning songwriter, RED BOW recording artist and co-producer of his debut album.

Raised in Orange Grove, TX (pop. 1,200), Bryant’s grandfather played piano for Roy Orbison and Waylon Jennings. His uncles co-founded the group Ricochet. Bryant counts Conway, Merle, Petty, Vince, Bob Wills, Steve Wariner, Bryan Adams among his early influences along with modern country records by Keith Urban, Sarah Buxton and Jedd Hughes.  Those influences can be heard at Country Radio now in Bryant’s debut single, the vocally charged and guitar-wielding “Take It On Back.”  Heralded for his high-energy live shows by the likes of Rolling Stone Country, Taste of Country, Country Weekly and Teen Vogue, Bryant is currently performing at arenas across the nation as part of Brantley Gilbert’s Let it Ride Tour.  Bryant’s self-titled debut EP is available at digital retailers now.
