Country newcomer Ben Rue releases the official video for his debut single “I Can’t Wait (Be My Wife)”.
Rue’s small town Oregon roots are beautifully reflected in the picturesque landscape in the video. The simple yet captivating imagery combined with the detailed lyrics create a happy and hopeful state of mind that you can’t help but find familiar. Showing a soldier coming home to his love, this video will surely hit close to home with many country fans.
Written by Ryan Ogren/James Bailey/Jon Berry/Peter Munters/James Ulrichand and produced by Kyle Lehning (Randy Travis, George Jones), “I Can’t Wait (Be My Wife)” was released to radio only a few weeks ago. Already, this song has gained attention and recognition from Billboard and All Access naming it “the wedding song for summer 2014”!
On writing, Ben shares, “I’m a big storyteller, I like songs with meaning, not just noise that puts people in a good mood, but something that connects with them on a deeper level – and I hope that the music that I create will do just that.”
