The Band Perry FOCUSonthe615SUPERSTAR SIBLING TRIO BRINGS HOME THIRD CMT AWARD
HOST OVER 500 FANS AT EXCLUSIVE FAN CLUB PARTY

ACM Vocal Group Of The Year, THE BAND PERRY, set Nashville ablaze this past week during the annual CMA Music Fest.  Kicking things off Wednesday night, the band added another award to their collection by winning the 2014 CMT Award – their third overall – in the fan-voted Group Video of the Year category for their cutting edge video for the hit single DONE.  The trio was a staple throughout the show, participating in a skit with show host Kristin Bell as she “stole” their award, and later introducing a performance by their upcoming tour mate Blake Shelton.

Early Thursday morning, The Band Perry arrived at Music City Center for a press conference where they fielded questions and also received a special honor from Music Row Magazine, a #1 Commemorative Challenge Coin to mark their single “Chainsaw” topping the Music Row radio chart. Immediately following the press conference, the band hosted an exclusive fan club party luncheon for 500 fans courtesy of McPherson Guitars.  Throughout the morning, fans toured the very stage The Band Perry performs on during their headlining shows and the North American leg of their We Are Pioneers World Tour.  Fans were able to hang out with the whole band and crew who fielded questions about the stage, the tour, and of course about the sibling trio.  Afterwards, each of the attendees had a personal meet and greet and photo taken with Kimberly, Reid and Neil.  At one point during the day, much to everyone’s surprise, one fan, Michael Mobley, pulled out a diamond sparkler and asked girlfriend and Band Perry fan Mackenzie Duncan for her hand in marriage.   She accepted.  The Band Perry later took the stage, telling stories and handing out “super fan” awards, and wound down the day with an intimate performance for those in attendance.

Friday night The Band Perry hit the stage for their official 2014 CMA Music Fest performance at LP Field.  Opening the show with their Number One smash “DONE.,” they delivered a fiery set  that included fan favorites “If I Die Young,” “Better Dig Two,” “Don’t Let Me Be Lonely,” and their latest single “Chainsaw.”   The 60,000 people in attendance were on their feet and singing along for the entire set.

This summer and throughout the year, The Band Perry will continue touring, playing headline shows as well as joining Blake Shelton on his Ten Times Crazier Tour 2014.  A full list of tour dates can be found by visiting: https://www.thefansperry.com/tour

About The Band Perry

The Band Perry have skyrocketed into the mainstream since releasing their platinum-certified, self-titled debut album on Republic Nashville in 2010, which scored the sibling trio a string of hits, including the quintuple-platinum “If I Die Young” (#1 on Billboard’s Country and AC charts), platinum “You Lie” and gold “All Your Life” (#1 Country).  Fronted by Kimberly Perry and rounded out by her younger brothers Reid and Neil, the band has sold over 11.3 million tracks from their debut and gold-certified sophomore album, PIONEER, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart and #2 All Genre. PIONEER alone has garnered more than 3.3 million single downloads. In addition to acclaim from top critics across the country, PIONEER has produced two consecutive #1 Country smashes – the platinum “Better Dig Two” and gold “DONE.” – which earned Reid and Neil their first chart–topper as songwriters. “Chainsaw,” their thunderous new single, is already Top 15 and climbing on the country radio charts.   The Band Perry enjoyed sold–out headlining dates and recently finished their first global headline tour, the WE ARE PIONEERS World Tour, in March. This summer, the trio will hit the road with Blake Shelton on his Ten Times Crazier Tour, and they recently joined Blake as the guest advisors for his team during Season 6 of “The Voice.” In the past year, The Band Perry has taken over the American television airwaves with unforgettable performances on the ACM, CMA, Grammy and Billboard Music Awards as well as American Idol, Good Morning America, The Today Show, Ellen, The Talk, The Arsenio Hall Show, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and The Late Show with David Letterman.  They also appeared on a banner episode of “CMT Crossroads” with rockers Fall Out Boy and performed as part of the Super Bowl XLVIII NFL Tailgate Party on Fox.  They recently took home the 2014 ACM Award for “Vocal Group of the Year,” and the “Group Video of the Year” Award at the 2014 CMT Music Awards, adding to their host of ACM, CMA, ACA and CMT Music Awards.  The Band Perry have also amassed GRAMMY, Teen Choice, AMA, and Billboard Music Award nominations, cementing the sibling trio as one of the hottest acts in recent history.
