RAW: Nashville of RAW: natural born artists premiers its first greaser and pin-up show, Kaleidoscope, Thursday, June 20 from 8 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. at Cannery Ballroom.
Featuring over 210 artists in the last two years, RAW: Nashville is adding the RAW: Nashville Pin-Up Show to its annual events. This event will be a collaboration of music, fashion, art and just plain ‘ol fun. With a greasy car show out front and prizes inside, there will be something for everyone.
The show will feature musical performances by singer/songwriter Shelby Marie, southern rock band The Whiskey Conspiracy, rock band Of Archers and punk/rock band Sexx. The collaborative music and runway show will feature clothing by Zintrise Altovise, Danalia by DP and Earners. Accessories will include designs from Little Imaginary Girl, Gabriella Raphael, Red Daisy Art Designs, Enamour Entirety and KO Design. Local visual artists will include art and photography from Tony Aldridge, Holly Ceragioli, Vince “Bad Panda” Herrera , Cristy Napier, Shelby Waltz Photography, Ben Bowen, Celine Zhang Bolton, Stacy Steinborn, Brett Engle Photography, Steve Rollins, Courtney Davis, CJ. Expressions, Trunk + Art + Gypsy, Michael Mucker, Alli Richards, Nathan Freeman, Jahnitheartist, Marty Breedlove, Terri Jordan, Eric Wright, Alyssa Danielle, Two Sisters Photography, Elysian Bourne Photographic Imaging, Nick Murphy, Jonathan Hayes, Jason Replogle, Pride and Glory and Brandyn David Feldman. The night’s performing artists will include poet Christine Hall, Laura Valentine Choreography and dance crew CO Crew.
“This show is far from the ordinary RAW show,” Lauren Stout, RAW: Nashville Showcase Director said. “We have tattoo artists, a poet, a car show — you just never know with RAW. I am very proud of how we have progressed this year.” The event will be hosted by Channel 17 reporter Erin Como, while DJ Steviety Bebop will “rawk” the 1’s & 2’s.
