Tyler Farr Goes “Redneck Crazy”

With his new single “Redneck Crazy” now at radio, Columbia Nashville newcomer Tyler Farr has witnessed many ‘redneck crazy’ moments in his years on the road. He spent his teenage years, side stage at George Jones concerts watching his step-dad play guitar for the country legend and more recently, playing over 200 shows opening for Colt Ford.

“Yeah man, I saw just about everything you can imagine on the road and a jealous boyfriend or girlfriend was at the root of a lot of them,” said Tyler. “I’ve been there myself too but luckily the Yankee candle flying through the air didn’t hit me in the head,” he laughed. “This thing called love makes people nuts and makes you go ‘redneck crazy.’ So when I heard this song, I knew instantly I wanted to record it.” The song was written by Josh Kear, Mark Irwin and Chris Tompkins. The song is catching the ear of artist, radio and fans too. RCA Nashville singer songwriter Jake Owen said “I love that song! Tyler sounds great singing it. It’s got some Conway Twitty in there.” Mark McKay of WGH radio in Norfolk said “I LOVE “Redneck Crazy. ‘…throw empty beer cans at both of your shadows….’ What a great line that is!” And Scott Donato of WGTY in Pork, PA emphatically said, “This is a hit single!” Posts on Tyler’s Facebook page rave, “I could seriously listen to Redneck Crazy by Tyler Farr on repeat all day…So good!” And another reads. “THANK YOU for giving everyone the best song to listen to at work…. yup doing the office chair dance to Red Neck Crazy.”

In addition to the new single, Tyler is gearing up for a tour with Rodney Atkins and Josh Thompson. The coast-to-coast tour includes venues in New York City, Westbury, NY, Indianapolis, IN, Amarillo, TX and Spokane, WA.
