NASHVILLE, TN (April 26, 2022) – With a passion for music and animals, TYLER RICH brings energy and empathic spirit to both. Last night (4/26) the California-raised, Nashville-rooted singer/songwriter led a round called WRITERS FOR RHINOS alongside ANDY ALBERT (Blake Shelton’s “She’s Got A Way With Words” + Dustin Lynch’s No. 1 “Good Girl”); CJ SOLAR (chart-toppers Morgan Wallen “Up Down” featuring Florida Georgia Line + Jameson Rodgers “Some Girls”); AIMP Nashville Songwriter Series class of 2019 EMILY FALVEY (Canadian No. 1 MacKenzie Porter’s “Seeing Other People” + upcoming cuts for Pitbull, Walker Hayes, Carly Pearce) and TRENT TOMLINSON (“Drunker Than Me,” “One Wing in the Fire,” “Just Might Have Her Radio On” + Brett Young’s No. 1 “In Case You Didn’t Know”). The esteemed tunesmiths sold out the annual event at The Listening Room in Nashville, which supports rhino conservation in partnership with the Nashville Chapter of the American Association of Zookeepers, Rich Rescues and Nashville Zoo Roar Corps. “Now in our third year, we could not be more thrilled to have such a talented group of musicians lend their voices to help save an endangered species. WRITERS FOR RHINOS is such an important fundraising event for our mission to protect Rhinos for generations to come, and we want to express our sincere gratitude to Tyler, Andy, CJ, Emily, Trent and all who joined for this special event,” said ASHLEY COLLIER-MEDLEY, WRITERS FOR RHINOS Founder.

Tyler has commanded the charts with three No. 1 hits on SiriusXM’s The Highway and has amassed over 365 million global streams with his GOLD-certified single “The Difference,” TikTok earwarm “Better Than You’re Used To” and The Cadillac Three’s Jaren Johnston-produced “A Little Bit of You.” His music embodies the feelings all people have in common – the need for acceptance, devotion and a place to call their own. That compassionate outlook extends to animals too with an initiative he began while on tour to raise awareness for pet adoption called with Rich Rescues.

“I’ve never tried to save a Rhino, but I’m happy to be a part of it. They are kind of like Pitbull unicorns,” said Tyler jovially addressing the capacity room. “In all seriousness, the need to protect animals whether it be at your local shelter or more exotic species across the globe is real and a big reason I started Rich Rescues to advocate out on tour. Any time I can support this cause, I’m all in.”

I‘m honored, and so grateful he’s invited me to tour with him this Fall, leaving our own stamp of California Country music across the states!”

Rolling Stone notes how he “is rising quickly through country’s mainstream ranks, unafraid to fill his music with R&B vocal runs and modern-rock aggression.” He has come a long way from his previous gig at Red Robin to opening up for stars such as Dustin Lynch, Sam Hunt, Justin Moore, Brett Eldredge, Cole Swindell and Dan + Shay. And while his fanbase has grown exponentially outside of his native California, hometown pride remains with Yuba City declaring August 18 as Tyler Rich Day and presenting him with keys to the city.

Raised in Yuba City, a small farming community in Northern California, Tyler Rich found his love of music gathered around a Christmas tree alongside family singing holiday classics and Creedence Clearwater Revival before being introduced to the Country sounds of George Strait, Garth Brooks and Alan Jackson. Fast forward to earning a degree in Economics, Tyler moved pursued a different game of numbers – music – exploring various genres with songwriting and bands before taking the leap as a solo artist signed with The Valory Music Co. While introducing his amplified sound and infectious energy coast to coast, the 2018 CMT Listen Up Artist has become a road warrior performing alongside Dustin Lynch, Sam Hunt, Brett Eldredge, Justin Moore, Cole Swindell, Dan + Shay. His lead single “The Difference” has already scored the No. 1 spot on SiriusXM, crossed over 18 million streams and solidified his national television debut on NBC’s TODAY. The Rhett Akins, Ben Burgess, Devin Dawson and Jacob Durrett-penned song offers a glimpse into his real-life courtship with fiancée actress Sabina Gadecki. Rachel Wammack, a 24-year old native from Muscle Shoals, Alabama, describes her sound as the trifecta of Country, Soul and Adult Pop. Being influenced heavily from the rich music history of her hometown, Rachel had no choice but to be shaped and sharpened by the artistic gusto that comes when those sounds merge. Rachel honed her craft not only as vocalist, but as a songwriter. At the age of 12, Rachel wrote her first song. Throughout the following adolescent years, Rachel expressed her art in her songwriting, storytelling, playing in the High school band, and pursuing a degree in professional writing. At the age of 17 she was discovered by a Sony Music Nashville executive while Rachel was performing at a fine cuisine, piano restaurant in Muscle Shoals. Five years and many written songs later, Rachel would receive a record deal from Sony Music Nashville. In April 2018 Rachel released her self-titled, four song EP via the RCA Records Nashville imprint, giving her ever growing fan base a taste of the music that’s still to come. Wammack’s EP, which includes her newly-released debut single “Damage,” proves that the young singer/songwriter is standing at the starting line of what promises to be an exciting, self-fulfilling and stunning career.
