“Tracy Lawrence Street Party” Adds Dee Jay Silver To Lineup, Free Concert Event Offers Fans The Ultimate CMT Music Awards After Party Destination

Tracy LawrenceAs CMA Fest week begins, Tracy Lawrence will be celebrating in a big way this year with the inaugural “Tracy Lawrence Street Party” on June 4 in Nashville. The social music event will take over the Losers Bar & Grill parking lot for the free open to the public concert starting at 6:00pm. The “Tracy Lawrence Street Party” is set to give fans the ultimate CMT Music Awards after party destination featuring some of Country music’s favorite entertainers including the “Pickup Man” himself Joe Diffie.

Country music’s favorite DJ remix artist Dee Jay Silver has been added to the lineup to perform his famous remixes. Silver has entertained millions on tour with superstars Jason Aldean, Brad Paisley, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, and host of the syndicated radio show The Country Club with Dee Jay Silver.

The “Tracy Lawrence Street Party” sponsored by The Orchard, WME, Suntrust Bank, Energems, and Losers is set to include special guest artists during the show including a finale performance by Tracy Lawrence.

Lawrence’s latest single “LIE” is currently in the top 15 on the country charts. Billboard praised the song “LIE” as one of the best-written cuts of his career, with only “Time Marches On” surpassing it.

Artists Tee Up For Christmas 4 Kids Celebrity Golf Tournament

Christmas 4 KidsSports, music and television celebrities and personalities will team up on April 23 at the Pine Creek Golf Course in Mount Juliet, Tenn., to benefit Middle Tennessee children during the annual Christmas 4 Kids Celebrity Golf Tournament, presented by Prevost.

Tracy Lawrence, Bo Bice, David Ball, Fox17’s Kelly Sutton and Nick Paranjape, Lisa Matassa, Del Gray of Little Texas, Mickie James, Mark Cooke, Ty Brown, Lucas Hoge and Eric Heatherly are all slated to take part in the tournament, with more announcements to be made in the coming weeks. Bluegrass duo The Roys will return as the tournament hosts. The tournament is a three-player scramble with a celebrity as the fourth player.

Nashville Community Rallies To Help Benefit The Nashville Rescue Mission At The Tracy Lawrence “Mission Possible” Turkey Fry

As Thanksgiving approaches, Tracy Lawrence with the help of friends on Tuesday (11/20) celebrated another successful year frying more than 500 turkeys that will serve thousands this Thanksgiving holiday.

Since 2006, Tracy Lawrence “Mission Possible” Turkey Fry has brought in an estimated 6,500 turkeys and provided more than 40,000 meals to the Nashville Rescue Mission feed the homeless during the holidays.

“I am blessed to have so many friends who share the same passion that I do for those in need during the holidays,” said Tracy Lawrence.  “From volunteers who labored all day to the person who came by to drop off a turkey, they all have contributed to the success of this event and I am very thankful for them.”

As Tracy Lawrence prepares to host the 7th annual “Mission Possible” Turkey Fry on Tuesday, November 20, the Nashville Rescue Mission will need an estimated 1000 Turkeys that will serve more than 5000 meals to feed the homeless in Middle Tennessee this Thanksgiving holiday season. The Nashville Rescue Mission has only received a small amount of turkey donations to date. Definition of a GHERM:

Someone who slavishly follows and sucks up to a celebrity. A fan to excessive degree. Usually applied to one who makes people uncomfortable by their adoration.
“That guy is such a gherm. He buys every piece of merchandise related to that singer and attends every show.”

A person not affiliated with the music industry but who has connections that can get them backstage concert access. They then get backstage and totally get in the way of those who are supposed to be there working. Term originated at Starwood Amphitheater in Antioch, TN during the summer of 1990.
“Wow, this load-out would be a breeze but the gherms at this Jimmy Buffet show are totally getting in the way!”
