The Last Bandoleros Announce Weekly October Residency In Nashville

Warner Bros. / Warner Music Nashville recording artists and world-traveling entertainers The Last Bandoleros are back in town, and to celebrate their homecoming they’ve announced a residency at Layman Drug Company every Tuesday of October. Along with an irresistible offer of free tacos and beer, “Taco Tuesdays with The Last Bandoleros” will feature brand new music, special guests and more. Sponsors include Nada Tacos, Codigo Tequila and Topo Chico. Fans can RSVP at http://www.thelastbandoleros.com/.

“We’ve finally all settled at home here in Nashville after being on the road for the past two years,” said guitarist/vocalist Derek James. “We thought having a free weekly residency would be a great way for some of the local community who don’t yet know us to hear our music for the first time.”

“We also wanted to bring a taste of our culture to these shows,” added bassist/vocalist Diego Navaira. “So we thought… Bandos, tacos and tequila!”

The Last Bandoleros (James, Navaira, guitarist/vocalist Jerry Fuentes and percussion/vocalist Emilio Navaira) have spent much of the past few years on the road. Music icon Sting handpicked them to join his 57th and 9th World Tour before heading out on their own headlining dates across the country and abroad. Throughout that time they’ve steadily released new tracks and videos, including the brand new song “What Would You Be Doing?” Revealed just last month, the “poignant remembrance of an important artist” (Rolling Stone) is the Navaira brothers’ tribute to their late father. Designated one of seven bands Entertainment Weekly praised for leading the way in Music City and a 2016 People “Ones To Watch,” the gritty touring band will hit the road again later this year. November will take them to Germany for a string of dates overseas. The Last Bandoleros have earned acclaim across the globe for their Beatles-esque harmonies and muscular instrumentation. Outlets including The Orange County Register, The Minneapolis Star-Tribune, Houston Press and The St. Louis Post-Dispatch have praised their unique sound and strong stage presence in live performances, with The Tennessean applauding their “harmony-rich, high energy” and The Boston Globe declaring that they “came out on fire and just kept burning.”
