Daniels, known for hits like “Devil Went Down To Georgia,” “Southern Boy,” and many others, will be in attendance at the premiere event to meet and greet with guests and provide a one-of-a-kind experience.

A silent auction will also take place for guests to bid on valuable signed merchandise and rare memorabilia, which has been donated to raise supplementary funds for The Journey Home Project.

Country star Chris Young, who has celebrated recent top country hits like “Tomorrow,” “Voices” and “I’m Comin’ Over,” is slated to perform as part of the evening’s top-notch entertainment line-up alongside country newcomer Ryan Weaver. Weaver served in the military as Chief Warrant Officer 3 as a Blackhawk Helicopter Aviator and also serves as a national spokesperson for The Journey Home Project.

Later in the evening, honorary speaker Lieutenant General (Retired) Keith M. Huber will speak on behalf of veterans and Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU). As revealed in a press release from Charlie Daniels and The Journey Home Project on Sept. 28, funds from The Journey Home Project will be donated to MTSU in order to assist in the completion of the school’s new Veterans and Military Families Center on campus.

Doors will open and the silent auction will begin at 6:30 p.m. CDT, followed by a signature surf-and-turf dinner fresh from The Palm’s kitchen. The official program and live auction will kick off at 8 p.m. CDT.
