About Carly Pearce
Fiercely rooted in the classics, the girl who left her Kentucky home and high school at 16 to take a job at Dollywood has grown into a woman who embraces the genre’s forward progression. GRAMMY® Award-winning singer-songwriter Carly Pearce lit a fire with her debut album Every Little Thing and the PLATINUM-certified history-making title track, and she hasn’t slowed down since. Pearce’s 3x PLATINUM-certified “I Hope You’re Happy Now” with Lee Brice won both the 2020 CMA Awards Musical Event and 2021 ACM Awards Music Event, plus ACM Single of the Year. Pearce, now a Grand Ole Opry and Kentucky Music Hall of Fame member, has come a long way from the pain she felt writing her critically acclaimed and commercially lauded third studio album 29 which includes Country Radio chart toppers “Never Wanted To Be That Girl” with Ashley McBryde and  “What He Didn’t Do.” For the PLATINUM-certified “Never Wanted To Be That Girl,” Pearce picked up her second consecutive ACM Music Event of the Year in 2022 and marked the third duet between two solo women to top Billboard’s Country Airplay chart. The song also took home the 2022 CMA Musical Event of the Year and won a GRAMMY® Award for Best Country Duo/Group Performance, marking Pearce’s first and making history as the first female pairing to win in the category. Earlier this year, Pearce joined Blake Shelton’s BACK TO THE HONKY TONK TOUR and made her 100th performance at the Grand Ole Opry. As she closed out that pivotal 29 chapter with her first live album 29: WRITTEN IN STONE (LIVE FROM MUSIC CITY), Pearce now steps into the next chapter of her musical career with the praised release of her new single “We Don’t Fight Anymore” (featuring Chris Stapleton) in June and August release of “Country Music Made Me Do It.”  Pearce will embark on her 2023 fall headline COUNTRY MUSIC MADE ME DO IT TOUR starting October 5 through November 18. In March 2024, Pearce will join Tim McGraw’s 2024 STANDING ROOM ONLY TOUR as direct support. Honored as one of CMT’s 2022 Artists of The Year, the 2021 CMA Female Vocalist of the Year and 2022 ACM Awards Female Artist of the Year, Pearce continues to resonate with her honest lyrics and timeless musicality. “…extraordinary consistency at the pinnacle of country music’s mainstream.” – The Tennessean

“Next Thing You Know” Lyrics:

Swear that you’re staying single next thing you know

You meet a girl at a bar and next thing you know

You get her laughin’, its two a.m.

You’re tellin your buddies three months in

That she ain’t moving in but next thing you know

There’s a Uhaul trailer next thing you know

Your old apartment is y’all’s new place

There goes the carpet but the deer head stays

Next thing you know saving money like never before

Just to spend it all at a jewelry store

Getting down on one knee on her momma’s porch Just pray she don’t say no

Next thing you know your best man gives a half drunk speech

And your sunburn on a honeymoon beach

And your left hand is getting used to that ring

There the next two or three years ago

Next thing you know

Weren’t really trying next thing you know

There’s a test on the counter next thing you know

She’s standing there crying nodding her head yes

Your half excited half scared to death

Cause next thing you know

You’re wearing scrubs and a funny white hat

And the doctor’s sayin how you doing there dad and

Nobody’s ever called you that

And you take the drive home slow

Next thing you know its first steps, first date, first car

Its 11:01 wondering where they are

You sayin’ that USC’s too far

Its amazing how fast seventeen years go

Next thing you know, Next thing you know

Next thing you know you get to know your wife again

And you’re more in love than you’ve ever been

With a lot of years of remember whens and still some down the road

‘Cause next thing you know you got a yard full of your kids’ kids

And you take them to church, teach em to fish and ya

Tell them stories every chance you get

‘Bout how fast this life down here can go

Next thing you know, Next thing you know

Kameron Marlowe And Erin Kirby Give The Fans What They Want! New Version Of “I CAN LIE (THE TRUTH IS)” Out Now

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – When Kameron Marlowe first gave fans a sneak peek of his latest release “I Can Lie (The Truth Is)” last November, one response stood out. Aspiring singer/songwriter Erin Kirby posted a TikTok adding harmonies over Marlowe’s original voice memo, drawing immediate praise (including a “HOLY S***” from Marlowe himself) as fans flooded both artists’ comments begging for an official duet. Today, the pair answer the call with “I Can Lie (The Truth Is)” by Kameron Marlowe featuring Erin Kirby. Listen HERE.

“A while back I teased this song on TikTok and the next day I got an insane amount of notifications about this girl named Erin Kirby. I listened to her video and immediately said we had to throw her on ‘I Can Lie’,” said Marlowe. “This song wouldn’t be true without her, and she was definitely the missing link to making the story of this song come to life. I’m excited for my first duet to be something the fans made happen and I can’t wait to see how Erin’s career takes off from here. She’s the real deal and I’m very proud of this song.”

Marlowe released the solo version of “I Can Lie (The Truth Is)” earlier this month, but listeners were still ravenous to hear Kirby’s distinct vocals round out the track and blend with Marlowe’s mournful wail. Unbeknownst to Kirby, Marlowe was hard at work behind the scenes to make it happen and extended the invite to join him for a duet via TikTok – the platform that originally connected the two. Thinking she was on her way to a meeting, the 19-year-old Georgia native actually ended up in the recording studio, where Marlowe surprised her with the news that she would be recording vocals that day. Watch the moment HERE.

Kirby added “This has been such a thrill getting to be a part of this song! From the response to me covering the song, to then getting surprised by Kameron to sing with him on it, I’m just so excited to be a part of this and can’t wait for y’all to hear it.”

Additionally, Marlowe invited Kirby to join him for their first joint live performance Tuesday (6/27) on the Grand Ole Opry. “I Can Lie (The Truth Is)” earned nearly 1.5 million global streams its first week of release and has been touted as “a heater” by Whiskey Riff as Country Now observed “The singer/songwriter’s baritone vocals are accompanied by the traditional sounds of pedal steel and the fiddle, taking listeners back to that traditional country sound that’s been passed down from generation to generation by the likes of Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings and more.”

It’s the latest offering from Marlowe, who is a member of the CMT Listen Up and Opry NextStage classes of 2023. He released his debut album We Were Cowboys – produced by Dann Huff – in 2022 and will spend the rest of the year touring with Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley, and Jordan Davis in between his own headline dates, fairs, and festivals including Watershed, Faster Horses, Windy City Smokeout, and more.

Elle King Releases The Bodacious New Song “Tulsa”

NASHVILLE, TN – (Jan 5, 2023) — Elle King kicked off 2023 co-hosting and performing at New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash, which was broadcast on CBS and is rounding out the week by releasing “Tulsa,” (link here: https://ek.lnk.to/CGYW) a new song from her forthcoming album, Come Get Your Wife. The new album will be released Friday, Jan 27.

While Tulsa has been named checked in many country songs, this is the first time it’s recognized for its spelling in reverse. “Tulsa is a song about doing someone wrong,” said King of the tune that includes the lyrics But if you spell it back to front you gonna know what I mean, he went back to Tulsa. “This is not about tearing women down but it’s about putting the blame on the wrongdoer. If a man is cheating on you, it’s not her fault because there are a million other girls he would do it with. And he’ll just cheat on her too. It’s a song about uniting and not taking shit from this real P.O.S.”

Written by King along with Ella Langley, Bobby Hamrick and Matt McKinney, “Tulsa” features background vocals by Ashley McBryde and John Osborne on guitar. “We wrote the song in less than an hour and it’s so raucous and fun,” Elle continued. “We’ve been playing it on the road and it’s the third song in our show now. It’s fun for us and the crowd!”

With the release of “Come Get Your Wife” only three weeks away, “Tulsa” is another glimpse into the fresh, unbridled and honest album that almost feels like a look into King’s journal. The brassy tune joins the current single “Worth A Shot” with Dierks Bentley – currently at #43 and rising, the previously released smash hit “Drunk (And I Don’t Want To Go Home)” with Miranda Lambert, the banjo-basted take-your-small town gossip “Out Yonder,” and the hallelujah sass of “Try Jesus,” all part of the “Come Get Your Wife” line-up. King wrote eight of the 12 songs and co-produced the album with Ross Copperman.

Fans can hear the new music live starting February 14 with her 2023 headlining Elle King A-FREAKIN-MEN Tour Presented by Slow & Low. The nearly 30 city tour will kick-off Valentine’s Day in New Orleans, LA.

Julia Michaels And Jordan Davis Release New Song “Cool Anymore”

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – MCA Nashville’s Jordan Davis has teamed up with GRAMMY-nominated artist Julia Michaels for a new collaboration titled “Cool Anymore.” Written by Jordan and Julia along with Nicolle Galyon, Ross Copperman and Emily Weisband, the track encourages listeners to let their guard down and just be themselves. Jordan and Julia also premiered a special video for “Cool Anymore” with YouTube today, Nov. 8; watch HERE. The video was directed by Eric Ryan Anderson, who shot Jordan’s previous videos for his back-to-back No.1 Platinum hits “Singles You Up” and “Take It From Me.”

“‘Cool Anymore’ is a song about not taking things too seriously,” says Jordan. “We spend a lot of time playing shows and it’s easy to get caught up in it, but this song is just a reminder to leave work at work. It’s a job. Enjoy it, go out to do the music thing but then come back and be a husband and a friend.”

“It’s just a fun, chill vibe that has a nice little groove to it and makes you smile and feel good,” adds Julia. “We’re lucky to be able to go home and let loose with the ones we love.”

Jordan’s current single “Slow Dance In A Parking Lot” is approaching the Top 20 at country radio and is featured on his debut album, Home State, which has accumulated almost 1 billion streams worldwide. The Louisiana native recently announced his headlining Trouble Town Tour, which will kick off in Milwaukee, Wisc. on Jan. 10 before hiting over 20 additional markets including New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta and Denver withup-and-comers Kassi Ashton and Hailey Whitters on select dates. The tour earns its moniker from Jordan’s new song also titled “Trouble Town;” listen HERE.

Since bursting onto the scene, Jordan continues to impress critics and fans alike. Billboard notes, “from the looks and sounds of it, Jordan Davis is here for the long haul” while All Access says, “Jordan Davis is proving to us that he has no plans to slow down.” Jordan just wrapped opening for Old Dominion on their European tour following a direct support slot on their Make It Sweet Tour earlier this year.

GRAMMY-nominated singer/songwriter Julia Michaels continues to transform the pop music landscape through her identifiably honest lyrics exemplified by her triple-Platinum selling debut single “Issues.” As a songwriter, Julia has co-written 22 titles that have charted on the Billboard Hot 100, including two that rose to No. 1 and twelve that have hit the Top 40.  Earlier this year, Julia released Inner Monologue Part 1 and Inner Monologue Part 2, a series of critically acclaimed EPs. Michaels just embarked on her first-ever headlining tour, The Inner Monologue Tour, which follows previous tours with the likes of Maroon 5, Shawn Mendes, Niall Horan and P!NK.

WATCH THE “SUBLIME HARMONIES AND SOULFUL AD-LIBS” (ROLLING STONE) COME TO LIFE: youtu.be/-Esd6sFrrYo

The Steep Canyon Rangers performing at the City Green Live Festival in Sandy Springs, Georgia in May 2019.

Steep Canyon Rangers – Asheville, North Carolina’s GRAMMY winners and perennial Billboard chart-toppers – traveled to Nashville this past weekend with 12 members of its hometown Asheville Symphony to join Philadelphia soul legends Boyz II Men for the live debut of their collaborative single “Be Still Moses.” The performance, conducted by Michael Bearden (Lady Gaga, Mary J. Blige), and captured at Nashville’s Schermerhorn Symphony Center, is featured in the official video for “Be Still Moses” premiering today.

“Be Still Moses” effortlessly contrasts the sonorous, bluegrass-flavored baritone of Steep Canyon Rangers’ Woody Platt with the timeless vocal arrangements that defined Boyz II Men’s stratospheric rise in the ’90s. The studio version was produced by Michael Selverne (who had the original idea for the project), Boyz II Men and Joe Mulvihill, and features Steep Canyon Rangers’ hometown Asheville Symphony, 12 of whose members also played on the live version from Nashville. It was released in August of this year, and coincided with the Rangers’ return to North Carolina-based Yep Roc Records.

Sam Hunt Introduces New Song – “Kinfolks”

World Premiere Thursday, Oct. 10 at 4pm CT

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (October 9, 2019) – Multi-Platinum-selling, award-winning hitmaker Sam Hunt introduces fans to his brand-new song, “Kinfolks,” written by Hunt with longtime collaborators Zach Crowell, Jerry Flowers and Josh Osborne. The world premiere of “Kinfolks,” including its release on all digital and streaming platforms, takes place tomorrow, Thursday, Oct. 10 at 4 p.m. CT with the song officially impacting country radio on Oct. 14.

“When I think of ‘kinfolks,’ when I think of that phrase,” says Hunt, “I think of my family, but also I think of my people back home – beyond family. It’s my buddies who’ve been a part of my story from the beginning. I’ve made a lot of new friends and met a lot of new people who are important to me since I’ve moved away, but that core group is still my core group. It’s like that old saying, ‘you can’t make old friends.’” Hunt leans on that sentiment, exemplifying the importance of bringing a new relationship into the mix and comfortability of home.

Hunt has been dropping hints for “Kinfolks” all week with images and lyrics on his socials teeing up the highly-anticipated new release. Currently in the studio finishing up the project expected in the new year, Hunt gave a taste of new music to a packed Bud Light House Party event in Calgary last month, performing the reflective “Sinning With You” with an ecstatic crowd.

Fans have eagerly awaited new music from the record-breaking star since last year’s “Downtown’s Dead,” the follow-up to Hunt’s 6x Platinum “Body Like A Back Road,” and his GRAMMY-nominated, Triple-Platinum-selling debut album, Montevallo.

About Sam Hunt:

Sam Hunt’s GRAMMY-nominated, Triple-Platinum-selling debut album, Montevallo (MCA Nashville),topped the Billboard Country Albums Chart in its first week and remains the best-selling debut album for a country artist since 2011. Called “stylistically provocative” by The New York Times and “deceptively phenomenal” by The Washington Post, Hunt has received accolades from Associated Press, Billboard, Los Angeles Times, NPR, Rolling Stone, SPIN Magazine, Village Voice, The New York Times, The Washington Post and more. Since the Montevallo’s 2014 release, Hunt has accumulated over 6.85 billion global streams and has earned 22 million RIAA certified units. The album produced four No. 1 singles and five Platinum and Multi-Platinum-selling hits including “Leave the Night On,” “House Party,” “Take Your Time,” “Break Up In A Small Town” and “Make You Miss Me.” Hunt’s three-week No. 1, 6x Platinum-selling, GRAMMY-nominated smash, “Body Like A Back Road” shot to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart where it remained for an unprecedented 27 consecutive weeks, shattering the record for most weeks atop the nearly 59-year-oldchart. Written by Hunt, Zach Crowell, Shane McAnally and Josh Osborne, “Body Like A Back Road” was the No. 1 most-streamed and No. 1 most-downloaded country song of 2017, and the No. 4 most-downloaded and Top 10 most-streamed all genre song of 2017.
