The dust hasn’t even settled from Kenny Chesney’s record-smashing Big Revival 2015 Tour – closing with 120,206 fans played to over two nights at Foxboro, Massachusetts’ Gillette Stadium – and the man The Wall Street Journal has deemed “The King of the Road” is ready to kick-off 2016. As is always his way, he’s looking to make his stadium shows the best day of the summer.
Lady Antebellum’s WHEELS UP 2015 TOUR took off at high velocity this weekend with “the biggest production the band has ever mounted” (Rolling Stone). “No one can accuse them [Lady Antebellum] of not going all out in terms of stage design and visual effects,” heralded the Lubbock Avalanche Journal who also noted the group’s “harmonies are as strong as ever.” Their 65-city WHEELS UP 2015 TOUR presented by Quicken Loans, descended on Lubbock, Houston and Dallas, TX for opening weekend and will navigate across the country this summer with special guests Hunter Hayes and Sam Hunt.
Today, country music standout Sam Hunt releases the music video for his latest single, “Take Your Time.” “Take Your Time” is quickly making its way up country radio’s Top 10 and just surpassed 500,000 in track sales, making it Hunt’s second consecutive RIAA-certified Gold single as an artist following the now Platinum-selling No. 1 smash, “Leave the Night On,” off his debut album, MONTEVALLO(MCA Records Nashville).
In advance of their performance on tomorrow’s People’s Choice Awards in Los Angeles, Lady Antebellum dropped by CBS’ The Talk today to announce their headlining WHEELS UP 2015 TOUR presented by Quicken Loans. The band will kick things off on Feb. 28 with a European trek through Norway, Sweden, Ireland, Scotland, the UK and Australia and begin the North American leg on May 1 in Lubbock, TX. The tour will continue through the fall with triple-threat entertainer Hunter Hayes and red-hot newcomer Sam Hunt rounding out the electric lineup. MCA Nashville’s Sam Hunt returns to late night TV Monday night to perform his brand new single, “Take Your Time,” on CBS’ Late Show with David Letterman. “Take Your Time” is the follow-up single to Hunt’s Platinum-selling No. 1 smash, “Leave the Night On.” Both tracks are featured on Hunt’s album, MONTEVALLO, the No. 1 and best-selling country debut album since 2011.
