The 90’s music revolution could not be documented without mentioning the massive success of the UK band Bush. Formed in1994, Bush found immediate success outside the UK with the release of their debut album, Sixteen Stone, which is certified six times multi-platinum by the RIAA.[3] They went on to become one of the most commercially successful rock bands of the 1990s, selling over ten million records in the United States and 20 million records worldwide, with numerous top ten singles on the Billboard rock charts[5] and one No. 1 album with Razorblade Suitcase in 1996.[6] The band broke up in 2002 but reformed in 2010, and have released five albums since then: The Sea of Memories (2011), Man on the Run (2014), Black and White Rainbows (2017), The Kingdom (2020), and The Art of Survival (2022)

The release of “The Art of Survival” was celebrated in Nashville at The Ryman Auditorium on Monday Feb. 20th with a rock show beyond expectations, playing for an energetically packed iconic venue.

We have not seen the last of Bush, recognizing their skillful musicianship, well crafted songwriting and an unmatched live performance, this band proves longevity and and the influence of the 90’s music movement carries over into today’s modern pop rock creative pool. The Ryman continues to diversify the live music culture in Nashville, showing there is a demand and supportive fanbase that encompasses all generations. The Bush performance proved that, giving hope to future artists and lovers of music, in a city that has made its mark for all genres. Rock and Roll is indeed alive and well in Music City!

Brothers Osborne Finish A Multi-Night Run At Ryman With Sold Out Show

This past Saturday, February 16th, the hit country duo, Brothers Osborne, played the last of a short run of shows around the country, which included multiple nights at the historic Ryman Auditorium in downtown Nashville.

Brothers John and TJ Osborne played their hearts out to a sold out crowd that came to their feet the moment they took the stage following an incredible 30-minute, rousing, energetic performance by opening act, The Wild Feathers, who were the perfect compliment to Brothers Osborne.  The audience continued to stand, sing along, and cheer on the brothers the entire time.  You could just feel a special energy the entire night from the crowd, which I’m sure added to the performance and really energized the brothers.

The musicianship, family harmonies, and pure charisma Brothers Osborne bring to the stage is second to none.  They are seasoned musicians well beyond their years, and it is easy to see why they continue to be nominated for and win awards.

Originally from Deale, Maryland, the hit making duo that has brought us hits like “Stay a Little Longer” and “Rum” honed their craft from an early age at their family home with all-night jam sessions that included songs from Bob Seger, Hank Williams, Tom Petty and George Jones.

The brothers have come a long way from those all-night jam sessions of cover songs to playing sold out shows across the U.S. with their own growing catalog of songs.  They have already amassed a huge following with a few national tours under their belt and they show no signs of stopping.

The reigning ACM and CMA Vocal Duo of the Year continues on their headlining world tour.  Be sure to catch this extremely-talented duo when they come to a city near you, and pick up or download their newest album, “Port Saint Joe”.  Also, watch their brand new video just released last week for their nostalgic current single “I Don’t Remember Me (Before You)” , see it HERE.

You can find them on all social media under their name.  For more information and upcoming tour dates, go to: www.brothersosborne.com

Ninth Annual “Darius Rucker And Friends” Benefit Concert Set For Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium Monday, June 4

With diverse guests – from Brooks & Dunn and KISS’ Tommy Thayer, to Jamey Johnson and Radney Foster – for nearly a decade, singer/songwriter and 3x GRAMMY winner Darius Rucker has spearheaded an event focused on amazing music, memorable collaborations and heartfelt stories resulting in over $1 million-and-counting raised for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Rucker continues that tradition this summer with his 9th Annual “Darius and Friends” benefit concert. The event, which unofficially kicks-off CMA Music Fest week, is set for Monday, June 4 returning to Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium for a second year. Pre-sale tickets will be available Tuesday, April 17 at 10 a.m. CT and tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, April 20 at 10 a.m. CT at www.ticketmaster.com.

“When you see first-hand what this organization can do for families, it’s remarkable,” Rucker reflects. “Over the years we’ve met so many survivors, families of patients and volunteers whose lives have been changed by St. Jude. It’s one of my favorite shows of the year.”

The New Yorker calls Rucker’s voice “extraordinary: rich, round, and full of nuance,” and perhaps the same can be said for his heart. Rucker made a commitment to support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital after touring the facility known around the globe for treating childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases in 2008.

Aaron Watson Hosts “A Night Of Texas” Benefit Concert Tonight At Ryman

Amidst a string of sold out shows nationwide, Aaron Watson is preparing for his October 4 headlining date at Music City’s iconic Ryman Auditorium. Opening for this date will be fellow acts all from the great state of Texas including Jon Wolfe, Mickey Guyton, Jim Collins and Leslie Satcher, to present “A Night of Texas Music” benefitting American Red Cross Hurricane Harvey response efforts. Tickets start at only $25 and can be purchased HERE.  Proceeds from the show will be donated to the Red Cross.

It’s been nearly five weeks since Hurricane Harvey devastated parts of Texas and Louisiana, and the Red Cross continues to provide shelter, food, relief supplies and more to people in need. Red Cross response vehicles and volunteers are fanning out across neighborhoods to distribute nutritious meals and relief supplies, such as diapers, bug spray, cleaning supplies, coolers, and comfort kits that contain deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste and other hygiene items. Red Cross disaster workers are also providing health services such as replacing lost medications and eyeglasses, emotional support and spiritual care to people affected by this devastating storm.

Aaron Watson Photo credit: Joseph Llanes

The date adds to a hugely successful 2016-2017, with headlining ticket counts nearing the half million mark and 100+ sellout shows covering 40 states and 8 countries.

“It is such an honor to headline the iconic Ryman stage, and having the opportunity to turn this into a benefit for all of the folks in Southeast Texas who really need our help is going to make it an extra special night,” says Watson. “Really grateful for the chance to give back.”

Watson’s lead single “Outta Style” from the critically acclaimed album Vaquero, which debuted earlier this year at No. 2 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart and No. 1 on Billboard’s all genre Indie Albums chart, is currently sitting in the 20’s on both charts. Aaron continues to undeniably impact the country music scene, building an incredible 18-year career, marking his highest charting single to date and arguably the greatest underdog story in country music since Zac Brown Band’s “Chicken Fried” nearly a decade ago.
