With the holidays right around the corner, country music legend Dolly Parton is determined to help save the life of one of her dearest friends. Dolly’s long time attorney and close personal friend Jerry Edelstein is in need of a kidney and Dolly has stepped in to lend her support by recording a heartfelt video asking for a potential donor for him. Edelstein, whose other iconic clients include Jon Bon Jovi, has been seeking a kidney for several years and unable to find a donor, found out a couple months ago he was in renal failure. As we enter 2016, his need has now become desperate. The Flood Sisters Kidney Foundation of America and Public Good are hoping to raise awareness in order to find a donor with an O blood type, who could save Jerry’s life.
