Singer-songwriter Rachel Wammack (pronounced wa-mack) releases her debut self-titled EP, Rachel Wammack, today via RCA Records Nashville.

Listen to it HERE.

The new Rachel Wammack EP was produced by Dann Huff and marks the first commercial release to come from the 23-year old native of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, who was influenced heavily from the rich music history of her hometown, being shaped and sharpened by her upbringing there.

Wammack, who was eager to give her ever-growing fan base a glimpse of the environment that molded her into writing her first song at age 12, took a camera crew this past winter around her hometown, showcasing the people and places that have played a small part in the artist, Rachel Wammack.

Watch the short clip HERE.

Like her key influences before her, Adele, Otis Redding, Carrie Underwood and Sam Smith; Wammack honed her craft not only as vocalist, but as a songwriter. Throughout her adolescent years Rachel expressed her art in her songwriting, storytelling, playing in the High School band, and eventually pursuing a degree in professional writing.

All artists take different paths, but with Rachel, her path chose her. At the age of 17 she was discovered by Sony Music Nashville while performing in Muscle Shoals. Five years and many written songs later, Rachel received a record deal from Sony Music Nashville.

Today Rachel begins her next chapter as both a songwriter and recording artist with the release of Rachel Wammack.

Jake Owen Celebrates Unprecedented Start For New Single “I Was Jack (You Were Diane)” With Big Loud Records

Big Loud recording artist Jake Owen has a lot to celebrate because of the tremendous support from country radio for his new single “I Was Jack (You Were Diane).” Over 130 monitored chart-reporting country radio stations added his new song on or before it’s official impact date (TODAY), marking an unprecedented start to a new single in Jake’s career to date. “I Was Jack (You Were Diane)” is the most-added record at country radio for a second consecutive week.

“I’m so ecstatic about the launch of this new music and single,” says Owen. “Big Loud Records has done an incredible job launching this new project for me and believing in who I am and what kind of music I’m drawn to make. Joey Moi, once again, helped elevate the song to a whole other level, and we are all fired up about this start to a great 2018. Thanks country radio for believing in me!”

“Jake delivered a huge record and country radio showed up big for us,” adds Stacy Blythe, Big Loud’s National Promotion Director. “134 stations by add date is a debut we couldn’t even imagine. I’m very proud of this Big Loud family and this is just the start!”

Clay Hunnicutt, President of Big Loud Records, expresses, “Thank you to everyone who has helped Jake and the Big Loud team get off to such an amazing start. This far exceeded our expectations. There’s a proven track record that Jake and Joey Moi make great music together, so we really shouldn’t be surprised.”

“I Was Jack (You Were Diane)” was an iHeart World Premiere, and Sirius XM’s “The Highway” blasted it out of the gate. The new nostalgic single is garnering attention from digital media partners as well. Jake graced the cover of Spotify’s Hot Country playlist, featuring “I Was Jack (You Were Diane).” Also, the song topped Amazon Music’s Fresh Country playlist and was added to Apple Music’s A-List Country playlist, as well as, Pandora’s New Country Now playlist.

In addition, Owen’s 2018 “Life’s Whatcha Make It Tour” kicks off on May 15th in Chattanooga, TN, at AT&T Field, with special guest Chris Janson and rising star Jordan Davis. The majority of shows will take place at baseball stadiums across the country. Check it out HERE. Tickets on sale NOW.

Home Free Celebrates “Timeless” Love With New Video

All-vocal Country sensation HOME FREE is ushering in Valentine’s Day and celebrating longtime love with their new music video for their original tune “Timeless.”

The group chose seven endearing couples to be featured in the touching clip that they felt embody “timeless” relationships. Each couple recounts their love story and fond memories as they recreate meaningful photos from their pasts together – going as far back as 1964.

“We didn’t warn anyone ahead of time that they would be interviewed, which we think lead to some really heartfelt moments,” says Austin Brown, the group’s high tenor. “These are pairs that have stood the test of time and that’s what we strive to do in our own relationships. Having everyone revisit their important moments really brought the song to life.”

Sandra Lynn Releases FIGHT EP: Chapter 1 Of 3-Part Series

Country music singer-songwriter, Sandra Lynn released a new EP, titled FIGHT, yesterday on iTunes, Spotify, GooglePlay, and Amazon. The new release is Chapter One of a three-part series, to be released throughout 2018, and features four new tracks, including “Fight,” “Rest In Pieces,” the EP focus track “Somebody Kissed Me At A Bar,” and “From The Outside.”

FIGHT is a testament to how Lynn has grown as an artist as she reveals deeply felt emotions and puts them into the music. “These songs touch on the vulnerable and intimate details we ladies like to talk about behind closed doors with one another,” she says of FIGHT, which features contributions from hit songwriters such as Rachel Proctor, Shane Stevens, Matthew West, and Melissa Pierce, including her collaboration with Jake Scott (“From The Outside”). “The songs convey the push and pull in relationships, which take work; sometimes they work out and sometimes they don’t. I want listeners to feel that friction, but to also come away with a hopeful feeling that what’s meant to be will always work itself out. Fight for what you love, work for what you want, and don’t take relationships for granted.”

Taken together, the songs on FIGHT tell a story about a couple who are struggling to save their relationship (“Fight”), but eventually realize they must call it quits (“Rest In Pieces), though one isn’t so sure they’re over their former love when someone new tries to sweep them off their feet (“Somebody Kissed Me At A Bar”). The final song, “From The Outside,” delivers the larger message of Lynn’s story, which is that the grass isn’t always greener on the other side. “What might appear to be happy on the outside might, in fact, be broken on the inside,” she says. “I hope the takeaway is not to wish for someone else’s life because you never know what goes on behind closed doors.”

Lynn’s new song, “Somebody Kissed Me At A Bar” is set to receive support through Spotify, and the music video debuted exclusively yesterday via CMT.com and CMT’s 24/7 digital all-music channel, CMT Music. Click here to view the video.

FIGHT was recorded at Ocean Way Studios and is produced by Grammy award-winning producer/engineer, Ben Fowler (Eric Clapton, Michael McDonald, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Sara Evans, Maddie and Tae).

Back in 2017, in mixing tradition with her own contemporary flair, Lynn released “Hey California;” which debuted on Radio Disney. The video for the single aired on Great American Country (GAC), The Country Network, The Heartland Network, and on CMT Music.

Lynn currently splits her time between Los Angeles and Nashville, where she’s immersed herself among Music City’s creative community and has worked with some of Nashville’s most successful songwriters and producers including Rascal Flatts,’ Jay DeMarcus, Dave Brainard, Ross Copperman, Jeremy Spillman, Hall of Famers Gary Burr and Tom Schuyler, Tia Sillers, Victoria Banks, Paul Brandt, Mike Mobley, as well as ascending young songwriters Bobby Hamrick and Dave Pittenger. Lynn has also made a name for herself on the live circuit, opening for Brad Paisley, Kenny Chesney, Cole Swindell, Kenny Rogers, Jana Kramer, and Josh Thompson, as well as performing during CMA Fest, the KNE New Music Stage at Milwaukee’s Summerfest, and playing local Nashville venues, including 3rd and Lindsley and The Listening Room.

For more information about Sandra Lynn, visit www.SandraLynnMusic.com and her Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

FIGHT EP Track List:
1. Fight (Rachel Proctor, Shane Stevens, Matthew West)
2. Rest In Pieces (Courtney Cole, Jeff Pardo, Melissa Pierce)
3. Somebody Kissed Me At A Bar (Brooke Eden, Dave Pittenger, Justin Wilson)
4. From The Outside (Sandra Lynn, Jake Scott)

Country Newcomer Kassi Ashton Releases “California, Missouri”

Newcomer Kassi Ashton, recently named “Who to Watch” by Huffington Post, The Tennessean, and radio personality Bobby Bones’ Class of 2018, releases “California, Missouri” to all digital partners yesterday. Listen HERE.

Quickly making a name for herself with her soulful voice and authentic songwriting, Kassi shares, “This is the song I always knew I wanted to write. It’s an intro in to everything I am.” In the deeply personal song, Kassi digs into her experience as a self-described black sheep, ridiculed for her individuality and ready to break away. “I want the people who live here [California, Mo.] to hear it and know that I love them, but I also want them to know how bad it hurt,” she continues. “I also want them to realize that the hurt and the beauty is what made me who I am completely.”

In addition to writing the autobiographical “California, Missouri,” Kassi created the concept and graphics for the song artwork. “This is my introduction to the world,” she says. “I wanted people to get more than just a pretty picture.” Comprised of seven layered images all shot at her father’s farm, Kassi aimed for “high fashion editorial in front of a cliché, but honest, rural country background.” The multiple layers each have significant meaning and range from one of her high school senior pictures, a time when the young songwriter says, “dreams were still dreams,” to a pile of junk outside her dad’s shop and a horse trailer. Kassi explains, “I’ve always tried to make beauty out of a mess – and I’m kind of a creative mess – and it’s unconventional. I like things that are unconventional and skipped over.” One of the final images is of three-year-old Kassi performing at her grandparents’ home. Thinking back on all of those years with one goal in mind, Kassi shares, “I’ve thought about this my entire life – every day since I was that age – and now I’m living it.”

As the hype continues, LANCO will perform their multi-week PLATINUM No. One hit “Greatest Love Story” on The Bachelor (1/22 at 7:00P CT on ABC) on Monday, before taking their anthemic single “Born To Love You” to TODAY (1/25 at 7:00A ET/CT on NBC) and Jimmy Kimmel Live!  on Thursday (1/25 at 10:35P CT on ABC). Additionally, fans can join the band for two intimate record signings, as they kick things off at Nashville’s legendary Ernest Tubb Record Store this Sunday (1/21 1:00pm CT) and the new Opry City Stage in New York City (1/24 at 2:00pm ET.) Listen to HALLELUJAH NIGHTS now at all digital and streaming outlets.

In case you missed it, LANCO made their debut on The Ellen Degeneres Show this week and the renowned host claims, “you have to watch this”: http://bit.ly/2DktQrw

Heralded as “one of the most-anticipated albums of 2018” (Rolling Stone), HALLELUJAH NIGHTS features 11 tracks co-written by the band’s lead singer and namesake, Brandon Lancaster. To capture the electric energy of their live performance, producer Jay Joyce maintained LANCO’s signature organic sound which continues to be applauded by critics and fans alike.

“With drummer Tripp Howell leading the percussive charge, its tracks dance and pulse with quasi-anthemic tendencies behind Brandon Lancaster’s relatable, every-man vocals. The band weaves playful gang vocals into several titles — particularly the good-timin’ “Trouble Maker” — helping them generate audience involvement in their live shows.” – Billboard

“11-song collection that puts an anthemic spin on young love and small-town life..many of the songs are interwoven with repeating themes and characters.” – The Tennessean

“The human connection and deliberation truly makes Hallelujah Nights stand out among its modern peers. There’s an actual song cycle, with the end of one track bleeding into the next. It’s possible to discern that each story is happening in the same town to the same characters.” – Rolling Stone

“Blends fresh sonic sounds to make an ear-pleasing blend of instrumentals backing up the lyrics of frontman Brandon Lancaster. Roots Rock, Country/Pop and Alternative/Folk are all blended into an interesting stew on LANCO’s debut album.” – Roughstock

“Sense of nostalgia….underlines the album’s theme of living in the present, but celebrating and cherishing the past.” – ABC News Radio

Rooted in the southern storytelling of Country music with the modern punch of rock & roll, HALLELUJAH NIGHTS (Arista Nashville) is LANCO’s coming-of-age debut album. Equal parts nostalgic and forward-thinking, the record breathes new life into universal themes with their two-week No. ONE PLATINUM hit “Greatest Love Story” and its follow-up anthemic current single “Born To Love You.” They are now the only Country band to achieve a PLATINUM single prior to a debut album release. LANCO’s story begins in the small towns where all five bandmates — Lancaster, bassist Chandler Baldwin, multi-instrumentalist Jared Hampton, drummer Tripp Howell and lead guitarist Eric Steedly — were raised. After they crossed paths in Nashville during their early 20s, LANCO bonded over that shared southern adolescence, while hoping to build a new life in a bigger city. “Few bands have have generated as much buzz as LANCO” (Pop Culture) as their self-titled debut EP, has gained more than 100 million streams. Named “the band to watch” by Bobby Bones, CMT, Entertainment Weekly, Hits Magazine, Pandora, Rolling Stone, Pandora, Spotify, SIRUIS XM and more, LANCO gained their status from touring the country’s top festivals with their “twangy rock, blistering guitars and chugging rhythms” (Nashville Scene) at Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, Watershed, Faster Horses and more.
