Stars For Second Harvest Hits New Milestone
Acclaimed songwriter Craig Wiseman’s ninth annual Stars For Second Harvest event, presented by O’Charley’s, raised a record- making $100,000 for Second Harvest Food Bank to help feed the hungry in Middle Tennessee. The June 4 concert at the Ryman Auditorium was headlined by Ronnie Dunn, Florida Georgia Line with a special appearance by Nelly, comedian Ralphie May and more. The event, combined with the live auction and several generous donations, helped to make this the most successful fundraising year.
Wiseman exclaims: “When I got the numbers I couldn’t believe we finally did it! Since we started this show in 2005, it has been a goal of mine to get to $100,000 for Second Harvest. Temperatures – and heart rates – rose in the southern California desert during Florida Georgia Line and Nelly’s recent video shoot for the “Cruise” Remix. Directed by Marc Klasfeld, the music video features an impressive fleet of fast cars, crowds of gorgeous women and a surge of slick moves. Combined with the original version, the sizzling tune has already sold over 3 million copies and is Top 20-and-rising at Pop Radio.
The video will premiere on Monday (5/13) across VEVO, the world’s leading all-premium music video and entertainment platform.
Florida Georgia Line “Cruise” (Remix Feat. Nelly) Available on April 2nd
After hinting for weeks, Republic Nashville’s Florida Georgia Line have exclusively announced, via their social networks, that a “Cruise” (Remix Feat. Nelly) will be available on April 2.
The breakout duo has caught the attention of several Superstars, including Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, and now, GRAMMY-winning Hip Hop artist Nelly. The sizzling collaboration will impact radio just in time for Spring and a taste of the new mix is subtly place in Nelly’s “Hey Porsche” video. Watch below!
