Craig Campbell Announces 2nd Annual Celebrity Cornhole Challenge

Craig Campbell Celebrity Cornhole ChallengeFollowing the success of last year’s inaugural event, Bigger Picture recording artist Craig Campbell announces his 2nd Annual Celebrity Cornhole Challenge. In honor of his late father, Campbell will be joined by other celebrities, including last year’s participant, Jerrod Niemann and label mates, Blackjack Billy, to raise money for T.J. Martell’s Colon Cancer research efforts. “My father passed away at the age of 36 from the disease,” says Campbell. “Come out during this year’s CMA Fest to have a fun time in support of a great cause!” Tickets will be available beginning in April and this year fans will be able to participate in the Cornhole tournament alongside the artists.

This past year, Campbell has been met with high praises from industry and fans alike with the release of his highly anticipated sophomore album, Never Regret, produced by Keith Stegall (Alan Jackson, Zac Brown Brown) and Matt Rovey (CCMA Album Of The Year Producer). This album produced the Top 15 smash, “Outta My Head,” and his current single, “Keep Them Kisses Comin’,” which is currently climbing into the Top 20 on the Billboard charts.

The 2nd Annual Craig Campbell Celebrity Cornhole Challenge is set to take place on Tuesday, June 3rd at the corner of Demonbreun and 3rd ave south, Downtown Nashville, behind the Listening Room Café.  Sponsored by McPherson Guitars, the challenge will begin at 4:00 PM CST. Hundreds of country fans are expected to come together for this great cause. Stay tuned for future announcements on more celebrities who will participate this year!

ABOUT CRAIG CAMPBELL: After moving from his hometown of Lyons, Georgia to Nashville in 2002 to pursue his country music dreams, American Country Awards nominee Craig Campbell quickly picked up work as a keyboardist in Luke Bryan and Tracy Byrd’s bands and was later discovered playing a regular gig at legendary Nashville honky-tonk, The Stage. Since signing with Bigger Picture, he has entertained crowds across the U.S., Australia and Switzerland, performed for national TV audiences on Fox & Friends, Huckabee and Marie and has been profiled in HLN’s series Road Warriors. The singer-songwriter has earned well-deserved praise from the country’s toughest critics for his 2011 self-titled debut album and current album Never Regret, which have sold over 1 million tracks to date. Campbell’s autobiographical lead single, “Family Man” was a top 15 hit followed by fan-favorite “Fish.” His latest hit, “Keep Them Kisses Comin,’” is the follow-up single to smash “Outta My Head.”  Follow him on Twitter @craigcampbelltv.
