Topgolf Transforming Nissan Stadium Into Larger-Than-Life Playground

Before Topgolf® Nashville opens later this year, residents and visitors can get a slice of the social experience that is sweeping the nation. From July 20-23, sports fans, golfers and even non-golfers alike can enjoy a festival-like experience with local favorite food truck fare, drinks and live music – all while crushing golf balls from the stands of Nissan Stadium into giant targets on the field. “Topgolf Crush is bringing the high-tech, fun, social and competitive Topgolf experience to epic venues nationwide, and we’re thrilled to make Nashville’s Nissan Stadium our next stop, ” said Topgolf Chief Marketing Officer Brian Radics. “In true Nashville fashion, Topgolf Crush at Nissan Stadium will feature live music from various local artists throughout the weekend, giving fans a preview of what to expect when Topgolf Nashville opens later this year.

Players will aim for giant targets ranging from 40-150 yards away on the field. Topgolf Crush features Topgolf’s Toptracer technology that tracks the flight path of the golf balls, instantly scoring every shot so players can challenge others to competition. Operating daily from 9 a.m. to midnight, Topgolf Crush will also feature live music, a bar and local food trucks for those wanting to keep the fun going before or after their tee time. All ticket types allow all-day long access to the event.

Topgolf Crush tickets start at $65 for standard 1-day passes, $100 for premium 1-day passes, and $250 for VIP passes. VIP passes include game play, parking, all-day food and beverage inclusions in the exclusive VIP lounge, 4-day festival pass, a complimentary Topgolf Lifetime Membership, and $10 off Topgolf game play, redeemable at any Topgolf venue in the U.S., excluding Las Vegas.

Lady Antebellum’s Charles Kelley Teams With Topgolf For Summer Video Series

Charles Kelley of seven-time GRAMMY® award-winning trio Lady Antebellum has partnered with global sports entertainment leader Topgolf® for an exclusive eight-episode video series titled “The Hook.” Focused on three of Charles’ favorite things – friends, golf and music – “The Hook” will be filmed during downtime from the multi-Platinum trio’s YOU LOOK GOOD WORLD TOUR. Charles, alongside his brother John Kelley, will host special guests such as Darius Rucker, Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth from “The Bachelorette,” Hope Solo, and Charles’ brother Josh Kelley.

“Growing up in Augusta, Ga., golf came second nature to me, and now it’s something I look forward to when I’m not on the road or spending time with family,” said Kelley. “I always have a blast at Topgolf, so having my golfing buddies like Darius sign up to come out with me for this is going to be a really good time.”

“The Hook” will have a variety show feel, featuring Kelley’s celebrity friends and family, music and, of course, a little friendly competition. The episodes will air on Thursdays throughout June and September, beginning June 8, on topgolf.com. “The Hook” is produced by INE Entertainment, and the deal was brokered by Creative Artists Agency (CAA).

Topgolf is opening a flagship sports entertainment venue in Nashville this fall. The three-level venue features point-scoring golf games using microchipped balls that instantly score themselves, showing players the accuracy and distance of their shots on a TV screen in their hitting bay. The venue will also feature Topgolf Live, a concert venue for ticketed events, plus an outstanding chef-driven menu, top-shelf drinks, big screen TVs and music in climate-controlled hitting bays for all-seasons comfort. The venue’s year-round programming includes events for kids and families, social leagues, golf tournaments, golf instruction and more.

$32,000 Raised For Middle Tennessee Children During Inaugural Christmas 4 Kids Celebrity Golf Tournament

Mount Juliet, TN (April 12, 2012) – On April 10, golfers hit the course with their favorite sports and music celebrities raising over $32,000 during the inaugural 2012 Christmas 4 Kids Celebrity Golf Tournament Presented By: PREVOST at Pine Creek Golf Course in Mount Juliet, TN. This year’s co-hosts Tennessee Titans Placekicker, Rob Bironas and 2011 ICM “Bluegrass Artist of the Year, The Roys and their fellow teammates, artists, and musicians including Brett Kern, Troy Gentry, Colin McCarthy, Buddy Jewell, Joe Diffie, Craig Stevens, Tracy Lawrence, Tim Shaw, Keith Burns and Doyle Lawson enjoyed a day of fun that will give Middle Tennessee children the chance to experience the gift of giving during the Christmas season. “The 2012 Christmas 4 Kids Celebrity Golf Tournament Presented By: PREVOST was a hit for everyone involved,” said Debbie Lamberson. “We raised over $32,000 that will help local children experience the gift of giving this Christmas. “Elaine and I have been supporters of Christmas 4 Kids for several years now, but this is our first time co-hosting an event for the organization,” said Lee Roy of The Roys. “We are grateful to all the golfers who participated knowing the money raised will give children the opportunity to buy Christmas presents for their friends and family.”

This year the course featured themed holes and challenges including a Hole-In-One prize, a Ball in Chip Challenge, a Las Vegas Trip Hole, and Closest to the Pin Challenge where participants competed for the chance to win a $25,000 cash prize, a jar of Popcorn Sutton’s Tennessee White Whiskey, a $1,000 cash prize, and a FREE Zoom teeth whitening experience. After the tournament the participants enjoyed a live performance by several of the celebrities taking part in the event including The Roys, Tracy Lawrence, Troy Gentry, Nathan Douglas, and Eric Lee Beddingfield. During a live auction, hands were flying for the chance to win the lyrics to “Devil Went Down to Georgia” handwritten by Charlie Daniels himself, a guitar signed by the Tennessee Titans and the opportunity to see Montgomery Gentry in concert.

In addition to the golf tournament Christmas 4 Kids features other events throughout the year including the annual Charlie Daniels & Friends Concert in November and the Tour Bus show in December.
