Drew Baldridge gave an ecstatic performance for his 3rd annual Drew Year’s Eve event in Las Vegas at the Hard Rock Hotel’s music venue, Vinyl, with special guests Neal McCoy, Tim Nichols, Monty Criswell and Mr. Las Vegas himself, Wayne Newton. He performed his current single “Guns & Roses,” along with a preview of six new tracks.
The set started with “Goodyears On Gravel,” a song that describes what home feels like for Baldridge stating, ”It’s 100% what I feel when I go back to Illinois.”
After hearing “Lonely” and “Cool Like That,” the audience knew they were seeing something special. The new music continued with “Gentle Man,” “Heartbreak Waiting to Happen,” followed by “Tomorrow,” a disco-feeling party track that had everyone in the room up and moving.
Radio friends in attendance had rave reviews of the new music.
“Country music always tells a story, but Drew Baldridge brings the personalities of their narratives to life on stage. #DrewBelievers,” said Jason McCollim, SVPP of iHeartRadio/Colorado Springs.
“Drew’s growth as an artist and performer is undeniable,” said Ashley Wilson, newly-minted PD at WNOE/New Orleans. “This guy is a star!”
Jon Shannon from WPOR/Portland said: “Drew stands out from the crowd. This guy is the total package.”
With the current single “Guns & Roses” – a big crowd favorite – rolling up the charts, more and more momentum gathers for Baldridge as he completely wins in person and on stage.
“Guns and Roses is a hit record,” said KRTY/San Jose GM Nate Deaton, “2018 is the year we’ll see him break through.”
“Definitely the one to watch in the coming year,” added KEEY/Minneapolis APD/MD Levi Jessen. “The new music we heard at Drew Year’s Eve surely indicates it’s going to be his best year.”
