Dan + Shay Add Three Shows To 2020 The (Arena) Tour Due To High Demand

(October 7, 2019) – Just hours after announcing their first ever headlining arena tour, GRAMMY-winning duo Dan + Shay have added three dates to the Dan + Shay The (Arena) Tour due to high demand. After kicking off the tour in Nashville, TN on March 6, the duo will return for a second show at Music City’s Bridgestone Arena on March 7, followed by a new date in Columbus, OH on March 8 at Nationwide Arena. On October 8, the tour will return to the New York City area after a September 25 date at Madison Square Garden with a show at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ.

Dan + Shay are seeing the biggest single debut of their career with the massive worldwide launch of “10,000 Hours” with Justin Bieber (LISTEN HERE). Written by the duo’s Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney with Bieber alongside Jessie Jo Dillon, Jordan Reynolds and Jason “Poo Bear” Boyd, “10,000 Hours” is the most added new song at country radio today and is poised to be their biggest first-week track consumption to date already totaling 50 million streams globally since Friday’s release. The “sentimental and romantic” (E! News) track was also produced by Smyers and is ranked at No. 5 on Spotify’s Global Chart, reaching No. 2 on their U.S. Chart. Dan & Shay’s “Tequila” Peaks #1 Multiple Weeks

Having a #1 song on the charts is a phenomenon all on its own. Dan & Shay are not only experiencing having “Tequila” at the top of the charts for multiple weeks, they are also seeing crossover radio success.
Written with fellow songwriters Nicole Gaylon and Jordan Reynolds (Reynolds’ first #1), and co-produced with Scott Hendricks, “Tequila” was released by Warner Bros. Nashville in January as the lead single from their newest project.
When Dan & Shay were asked when they experienced a defining moment in their career, they referenced to their live performance at the last ACM Awards.
“We played the song acoustic, just the two of us, we were a little nervous, but after Shay hit that incredible last note and his vocals soared, we got a standing ovation. Seeing that from our peers was that pivotal moment.”
John Esposito, CEO of Warner Music Nashville, joined the guys on stage at the presentation. “Having this song stay at #1 for multiple weeks is rare. We could not be more excited about these guys.” says Esposito.

Rascal Flatts Return To The Road This Summer With Dynamic Back To Us Tour Including Special Guests Dan + Shay & Carly Pearce

Known as one of the hottest-selling touring acts with over 10 million tickets sold, superstar vocal group Rascal Flatts revealed today that they will hit the road this summer for their headlining BACK TO US TOUR kicking off in Hartford, CT.

As Dan + Shay (Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney) teased on social media last week, fans are just days away from a taste of the duo’s brand new music. “Tequila,” their first offering in nearly a year, will be available to radio and all streaming partners this Wednesday, January 10. Co-written by Smyers alongside Jordan Reynolds and Nicolle Galyon, the reflective single is much more than just your typical drinking song.

The breakout duo are amping up the momentum from an exceptional 2017, which saw them amass more than 230 million streams, sell out shows in four international territories and earn a half-dozen award nominations – all between celebrating two marriages and a baby. The first new country duo in SoundScan recorded history to debut at No. 1 on Billboard’s Country Albums Chart, Dan + Shay collected their second RIAA Platinum certification in 2017 for “From The Ground Up,” the first single off of their sophomore Warner Bros. / Warner Music Nashville release Obsessed.
