NASHVILLE – June 20, 2019 – “CMT Hot 20” and DQ® team up for an all-new episode of “CMT’s Sweetest Summer Celebration Presented by DQ®” airing Saturday at 9AM ET/PT. The installment features interviews and performances by artist Lauren Alaina.
CMT’s partnership with DQ® continues to deliver fans the best new music all summer long. Each installment features all-new interviews with the artists, including what their summer plans entail and their favorite picks from the NEW DQ Summer Blizzard® Treat Menu. “Hot 20” will also premiere new live performance videos from the artists, which were filmed when they celebrated with fans at an event held in Nashville earlier this spring. Videos will move into CMT music hour rotation following their debut on “Hot 20.”

Last Sunday, CMT and Dairy Queen partnered together to bring a day of music, family fun, and sweet frozen treats to Nashville’s Cumberland Park in downtown.
It was a beautiful, sunny day, albeit a little chilly, but that did not stop the capacity crowd of 1,500 from enjoying the inaugural CMT Sweetest Summer Celebration presented by Dairy Queen that was a pre-summer fun celebration of music & the official launch of Dairy Queen’s new summer Blizzard menu starting the month of April.
Debuting this month at Dairy Queen is the Oreo Cookie Jar Blizzard featuring Oreo cookie pieces, chocolate chip cookie dough, and fudge mixed into Dairy Queen’s signature vanilla soft serve.
